Thank you for this! I bought a Cricut machine and got so frustrated by the software that I decided to bring it back and go for the Silhouette. Silhouette allows me to do so much more and gives me complete control over the design projects! This video helped me a lot.
Why do I have to trace a PNG image with an alpha channel? I'm coming to the Cameo from a Cricut, and even their basic software is smart enough to know the background channel isn't part of the image, no tracing needed
Five years old video. Can we get a 2023 update with an Introduction to the newest version of Silhouette software business edition features? We download it, but need visual tutorials on the new features to be able to use it to its potential. This would be most helpful to users who purchased this Business Edition. The offset is off. The white all the way around is not even..... I calibrated and did the distance adjustment. I do not know what to do next. I’ve search all over for the right video with no luck!
Hi! I don´t know if anyone can help me but on the 0.22 of the video there is a yellow sign, I have that all the time and it says my images are not with wnought quality and they got reall pixeled, How can I fix that cause the images are in big format and in vectors and I have tried doing it smaller and all and it does continue with the problem.
It's in the Transform Panel (looks like 3 narrow side-by-side rectangles). Scale is the second tab in that panel (looks like a diagonal double-pointed arrow).
Oops! The scale function in Trace will be available in the next software update. I must have been using a beta version when I filmed this one, so it's something to look forward to. :) I don't consider it an essential function, but it is nice to have.
