So far, we've covered a lot of dumplings on The bucket List with typical, traditional ingredients. But some dumplings defy conventions. At Cali Dumpling, founder Allan Tea makes monthly specials for their pop-up at Smogasburg like tom yum soup dumplings and pan-fried pizza dumplings (hot pockets anyone?). And at Beauty & Essex, the one-bite grilled cheese and tomato soup dumpling sells about 800,000 orders a year between their three restaurants.
