Checkpoints Used: 13
so I have changed my mind. I am actually gonna use checkpoints for the rest of the levels onwards. I realised that the most tedious and boring part of these runs IS getting the p rank itself, and with the alt checkpoint style, I can just skip that to get to the real challenge, Lap 3+. so basically, i'm just gonna keep using these checkpoints from now on. (also i really like the new taxi transition screens for lap 4+)

I noticed that in lap 4 snuck was smiling while holding the cigarette but in lap 5 he had it in his mouth and wasn't smiling like he thought John ghost was crowding the vehicle

I’ll tell you one thing.. Lap Hell Hotfix might be getting a new Mode that can be more difficult in the future. Do what you will with this info. Ok I’ll spoil it. Hell Mode: a mode that increases the difficulty of Laps 3-5 by like 3x I won’t spoil everything that happens but it is currently in testing by CyVap. :)

Interesting. I'll definitely check out the mode when it gets added. I'm excited for it to come out, because I hope John Ghost gets buffed. John Ghost really doesn't do much in these Lap 5's so I'll be sure to check the new mode out when it comes out.

Turns out you don't need all the toppins for a P Rank. You can test it out yourself, you don't need all of them. It is recommended to get all of them due to the score requirement, but since I was doing 5 laps, there was no point in getting all of them.
