Other games on how you get the power up during the final battle: Gather the maguffins, unlock your full power, something something friendship. Pizza Tower: "I'M DONE WITH THIS S***!!!"

I thought giving Peppino the shotgun during the Don't Make a Sound escape was the greatest 'To hell with your level concept, I'm going apeshit' moment Pizza Tower would offer me. I was wrong.

I love how Peppino, being faced with having to refight all the previous bosses, gets so unimaginably pissed that not only does he unleash flurries of blows, but he is so incapable of standing still that he starts dancing his anger at them. Perfection

Peppino and Samus are the maddest I've ever seen video game characters get recently. Need more characters that have climactic rage inducing psychotic breaks like those two.

I like how it first the theme conveys irritation and annoyance because at first you are frustrated at having to go through all the previous bosses again then you start seeing Peppino going freaking Super Saiyan on their asses and then your frustration gives way to empowerment and satisfaction.

I like how 10 minutes after peppino beats the absolute shit out of everyone he just casually saves them from the tower, he really isn’t one to hold grudges huh

I SPENT HOURS CLIMBING UP HERE JUST SO YOU COULD MAKE ME RELIVE OLD BOSSES TERRORS, TO HELL WITH YOU AND THIS PIZZA TOWER rage aside I loved this ending

I absolutely love how the Lap 2 leitmotif kicks in at 1:26, it’s obviously very fitting for a rematch with all the other bosses

People who understand music theory, why the hell is the part that begins at 3:26 so powerful? Something about the melody is just so... exciting? inspiring? I don't know.

I love it when the Noise always jumps out at 1:45 this version of Spaghetti for me, it's like "TEAR THAT LITTLE SHIT TO PIECES"

This boss fight is the absolute rapresentation of pushing people to their limit. As a wise person once said: "If you push someone to their limit, you'll see a completely different person."

The theme of "why do I hear boss music?" And the bosses themselves hear it.

I really like how the entire internet has unanimously decided not to spoil this game and go out of their way not to do that. I got to experience this unspoiled and it was definitely something that stuck out to me in all my years of gaming. Pizza Tower very good

This is probably one of, if not the first game to have a theme that makes me feel like I am the one in power. When you get to this section, Peppino feels a rage that not many people could feel, seeing all of these people he fought just coming back like nothing happened. Peppino feels primal rage, and Pizzahead sees this. At that moment, he realizes he is no longer the final boss. YOU are the final boss. God I love this song so much

"THAT IS FUCKING IT!!!!" The theme

Pizzahead: "Hahahahaha! I hope you like boss rush segments, Peppi-" Peppino: "YAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMOOOOORRRRREEEEE!!!" (Unleashes the grandpappy of all beatdowns on Pepperman, Vigilante, The Noise and Fake Peppino)

This has to be the most cathartic climax to a game ever. I feel like we can all relate to Peppino. Like who doesn't want to go ape shit from time to time?

I absolutely love how this theme combines music from so many other levels while also making it sound like a cohesive whole. Pizza Time, Cold Spaghetti, Celsius Troubles, Oregano Mirage, it's great.

You KNOW someone's pissed when they scream like Orphan of Kos before turning a boss rush into you rushing the bosses

Mario games: Bowser steals princess. Mario saves princess. Pizza Tower: Pissed off Italian man kills a giant pizza and destroys a tower with a entire civilization in it to stop his restaurant from being destroyed.

This isn’t phase 3 or the boss rush theme or pizza boys theme. This is Peppino’s boss fight theme, HE’S HAD ENOUGH AND BECAME THE FINAL BOSS

I love that this uses the Lap 2 theme 'The Death that I Deservioli' as a major motif--because you're doing a *Lap 2* of all the game's bosses! It's a fantastic detail.

I like the fact that you just straight up beat the ever loving shit out of every boss before pile driving pizza head straight to hell

One of the most brutal and just downright epic songs in the entire game, and yet it just doesn't hit the same without the sound of the roaring thunder and Peppino's fists pounding their face into marinara.

The way the song progress, it honestly makes me think that Peppino becomes so utterly enraged that it peaks and winds back around to him feeling in THE ZONE. Things that seemed impossible and hard before don’t seem like that anymore. the world is moving slower rather than Peppino being the one going faster. Throughout heaven and earth, Peppino alone is the honoured one.

This is my favorite part by far, it shows Peppino’s anger rising at having to fight those bosses again. Plus you can hear inspiration from the “Hurry Up” theme from Wario Land 4 at 0:48 with that instrumentation. Such a good theme man, love this game!

This phase's total HP is 88/4. The only phase that has Peppino take out multiple icons per hit and God does it feel deserved.

There's something beautiful in how the actual fight starts with the wario land 4 instruments

Random thing that I find absolutely hilarious: In the new Noise update, you throw bombs at the bosses as opposed to punching them. Each bomb takes off one health point, which is the same amount of damage that Peppino deals by punching the bosses. Meaning, Peppino's punches are equivalent, if not stronger than the _force of an explosion._ Which also means that during Peppino's final attack, Pizzahead was somehow withstanding the force of hundreds, if not thousands of explosions. I think is the one time in a game I've ever felt a character's pure, genuine rage. And it's from fucking PIZZA TOWER

I wouldn't wish P Ranking this on anyone but, when it finally happens on that last combo, it feels like that final beatdown was made just for that.

Peppino screams not of fear. But of pure unfiltered rage intact so much rage they ha almost kills each an everyone of the bosses with his barrage of attacks it shows you how much going threw a giant tower when your business is failing can change you. Like he gets so damn pissed at that point that he can't even hold it in anymore

I avoided Pizza Tower final boss spoilers as much as I could for a long time and finally got around to finishing it last night. It was worth it.

Peppino has had enough of pizza face's shit and proceeds to beat the living souls of all the bosses he fought in every other floor (January 2023, Colorized)

The freezer melody introduced me to pizza tower… Having it end with the same melody leaves me absolutely stunned. It quite literally brings a tear to my eye how epic this song is. Pizza Tower is the best 2D platformer i have EVER played.
