Pizza Tower - What Happens If You FAIL The Vigilante Boss Fight Showdown? 

The vigilante has the reaction time of an actual piece of cheese

Honestly when I went through this part of the boss fight for the first time I was worried it would be as hard as the final stage of the quickdraw mini game from kirby's adventure where you basically have only 1 nanosecond to react before king dedede clobbers your ass down with his gun.

A lot more anticlimactic then I wouldve expected

i did this by accident several times on my own by shooting early

Pepperman turns small and Vigilante has this showdown thing. So when The Noise grabbed his chaingun, I was prepared for something other than Noisette

Failing the final draw with Vigilante and Fake Peppino’s Final Chase are the only boss attacks to deal two damage.

That was a lot slower than I expected

you immediately get shot if you shoot too early it seems

Pro Tip: wait when the big red word "DRAW" appears after the word "Prepare to draw", do it too early, and You'll have to repeat the last phase. If You have 1hp then You're gona have to restart the boss.

When I beat this boss for the first time, I couldn't help but think of a certain character in I Wanna be the Justice Guy whose whole gimmick is a QTE duelist standoff. I think it made The Vigilante fight's ending much more intimidating, because the Justice Guy scenario is insanely evil. There, you have to react very quickly, and also pick one of the 4 weapons you have when you do, which weapon is chosen at random and you only see it right when you have to react. It's killed me too many times to count. And to think - that's just one intermission in the Deus & Leina fight.

i did this numerous times on accident. i looked at the wiki, it said "when the word draw appears on screen" so i was like "oooooh" i did not in fact understand

i failed here once because i pressed z instead of x 😀🔫

It’s the thought that it’s hard and you might miss that makes it feel so good to slam that grab button and finish the fight

The vigil showdown actually does one damage. If you play back the footage it shows right before the showdown transition you got hit and you were at 1hp for the second one so there was no way you would’ve known even i didn’t notice at first

so its pretty much like when you fail to kill pepperman when he shrinks

So it's kinda like Pepperman turning small

First time doing the fight I had one health and didn't know I had to press the button to shoot when it said "DRAW" and frankly I was a little pissed ngl

I was actually wondering what would happen if you didn't shoot in the draw sequence so I searched this.

I actually failed it the first time I did the fight, I didn't realize I had killed him and accidentally shot again right as the cutscene started which made me fail immediately. I think they patched that out later though, it doesn't seem like you can shoot in the whiteout now

why is it that instead of it saying prepare to draw it does this cinematic thing and no matter what vigilante always shoots me

ah, just the same as pepperman, doing nothing will just give him a extra last HP, but more dangerous

I failed so many times because the text never appeared and I had no idea what I was supposed to do
