Oh, wow. I love this rendition, too. Completely different from the one with Yebba, but just as great. Love the jazziness of this version. Sing, Alex! SING!
Everyone is insane for comparing the two versions. Firstly, it’s not necessary nor asked for. Secondly, both versions are completely different and they both offer something that doesn’t even feel like it’s from this earth. BOTH incredible. I listen to one as much as the other.
The fact that people made comparisons and referenced Yebba led others to search out and listen to the other version so while I agree that it's not necessary, it did give people more exposure to good music and more of Mr. Morton's beautiful orchestration. What's wrong with that?
i love how the piano album is played differently from the studio album and the one with yebba. i know there should be no comparisons but i'd confidently say this version is what i prefer the most.
Alex and Yebba did equally great on this in my opinion. They both made it their own. Alex's version is slower and smoother, while Yebba's version is a bit more up tempo and has a kick to it. But love them both.
Wow… This is truly amazing. I’ve heard both versions and both ladies have beautiful voices. Yebba has a jazz sound to her voice. Alex can just flat out SANG!!! Very personal performance. Loved it.
@PJMorton & @AlexIsley sang this so beautifully and heartfelt. I know the Bee Gees would be proud! 👏🏾 Long Life to Barry Gibb; RIP Brother's Robin & Maurice Gibb
This version is so beautiful. Yebba is amazing and this is equally as beautiful in a different way. I love love the way PJ sings this at the start. I'd love to hear every version he plays. Absolutely stunning ❤❤
I love 💕 yebba’s version however I love 💕 this lady’s version too!! The song 🎶 and words can hit differently based on who is singing as long as the can sing 🎤 🎶 and FEELS THE SONG 🎵!!!
I have been listening to PJ Morton for quite some time now, and I am just finding the more spiritual side of his music which I am living for‼I must have been living under a rock but I am just now hearing of Alex Isley and I AM BLOWN AWAY. Immediate chills ran down my spine the moment I heard her voice.. this was beautiful.
My heart and soul are awakened to the sacred beauty of this entire performance. God knows! Thank you both for allowing Him to use you so greatly. ❤️🩹🙏🏾♥️🕊️✝️
How Deep Is Your Love I know your eyes in the morning Sun I feel you touch me in the pouring rain And the moment that you wander far from me I wanna feel you in my arms again And you come to me on a summer breeze Keep me warm in your love, then you softly leave And it's me you need to show How deep is your love How deep is your love, how deep is your love? I really mean to learn 'Cause we're living in a world of fools Breaking us down When they all should let us be We belong to you and me I believe in you You know the door to my very soul You're the light in my deepest, darkest hour You're my saviour when I fall And you may not think that I care for you When you know down inside that I really do And it's me you need to show How deep is your love How deep is your love, how deep is your love? I really mean to learn 'Cause we're living in a world of fools Breaking us down When they all should let us be We belong to you and me
Place her in the same product video as yebba they would be on closer to compare , but the arrangement and production was magical in that video … Love pj Morton ❤
Yeah there's no way the one he did with Yebba surpassed this one. And i'm not saying this as disrespect Yebba at all. Alex sang this in a smoother way with PJ Morton.
I don’t hear what you all do. Yebba stood out for 25 seconds and came in flat. Alex carried the entire song while yebba faded into the background. It was very safe to me.
