@@YungRiceLilField thanks my family served the United States I got the US version of the type 65 but it's was made in the late 1990s when my great uncle was in the Vietnam war his was olive Green mine is in computer designed woodland camo and also have Alice lbe us made in 1999

It depends on which unit of the VC force you're going to portray, but I'd say go for it.

Do you know what the Viet Cong would carry in the rucksack?

Mostly it's going to be some personal equipment, like underwear,sandals,towel,canteen,bandages etc. You get the idea

Okay, because I also at the same time want to keep my loadout light plus most of the personal equipment (that are necessary) that you listed could probably be carried in the Chicom chest rig since it has many pockets. What I could carry from the things you listed in the chest rig are the underwear if the size is perfect and the bandages since I imagine they were smaller than you hand, the sandals you would wear unless you have an extra pair. The towel, I don't think is that important. For the canteen, I was thinking on getting a type 65 canteen cover.
