this is one great place in Malta not many people talk about, the beautiful village of Qrendi, fantastic place in Malta that is not so mainstream but it is worth visiting while on holiday in Malta. This place is located in the southern area of Malta and it is worth to visit. it Located in this place are historical temples that many tourists are visiting, Haqar Qimm! This place is also excellent if you are planning on moving to Malta and you are looking for a quiet place in Malta where you will meet many local people. Not so many people talk about this place in Malta and i highly suggest people to visit as it shows the pure tradition of the Maltese people.

Thank you for visiting our tiny village and showing its beauty for the rest of the world. Don't be intimated by the locals, it's just strange to see someone vlogging around here! If you ever visit again, you could have gone down the 'cliff' next to the tower by following the red paint to easily make it down to the arch area, as there are a lot more beautiful and natural areas that you missed along the entire coastside!

Thank you so much🤩 yes i noticed the locals were greeting me and looking at me with joy when i was just walking around with camera. I missed so many places including a marvelous sunset, my phone died and was not prepared with equipment. I am doing another edditon of Qrendi where i will cover everything i missed 🤗thank you for watching tho

Hi, Alex, I loved seeing the beauty of Qrendi and the beauty of Alex in this video! It does seem like the perfect traditional town that people can return to and relax at home after work, but as you said, not a bustling restaurant scene. The ease of walking to Hagar Qim and to views from that watchtower makes Qrendi also attractive, though. Loved seeing that view again along with FIlfla and that tiny azure window! Thank you again for reviving my memories of a spot in Malta! Great job!

Hey Alex!! Thanks for coming to my beautiful village 😉 Just some info 7:12 that's a Palazzo it's being restored at the moment and the rumour is that it will open as a boutique hotel 🙂 7:33 that's another Palazzo and those 3 houses were actually 1 and believe me it cost much much more than a million Qrendi is a beautiful village I love it. And most important very very quiet and there is nature 😉

In ways I wish we had longer to explore this delightful place, esp. for adding to my YT content and travel journals. We managed a walk through Gudja at night, from the airport (as per my latest vid). It was a fitting first impression of Malta before arriving even later to Marsaxlokk for their Open Market. Nice to see your informative content from the perspective of someone living there.

That was awesome! That's exactly how I remember Malta from the 1970s. Clean and quiet. Not sure if anyone translated the sugnyet as I haven't read all the comments. If not if basically ssid No Littering and the amount of the fine if caught. Thanks again Alex for your wonderful videos!

The towers were built mostly in the 1600's. I work in one of them that is open for visitors. So I should know exactly how many there are. But I don't.

After living there for seven years have you picked up any Maltese, or is it not really necessary considering most people speak English? It seems a very difficult langage to learn anyway. ♥

Not speaking any Maltese but I understand a few words in that sign ; MULTA - even in portuguese that means "fine", ta bejn- same like PT, "it is €1165 to 2330 something else about suspending your license very interesting !

Hey Cristina. Thank you. Well, officess are all over the island but if we talk about Sliema ne St Julians, with scooter you will need around 35min to get in those places. The south part of Malta (Qrendi, Zurrieq, Mqabba) are extremely safe, i cant recall any “crime” there. I will be doing a dedicated video about “Not so safe areas” 🤩

Alex, whenever you (or anyone) are in the south part of Malta (such as Qrendi) how much are you aware of the nearby presence of the airport? Your entire video sounded pretty quiet. Maybe the flight frequency isn't all that high, hmmm?

Hey David good point. the Airport is near by and the flights are quite frequent as well starting from April, to be honest i never paid attention to the noise but i recall Gudja and Birzebuggia are the 2 towns where i noticed the plane noise

ALEX, buy one of those portable solar chargers the size of a cellphone, they have an internal battery with solar cells on top, so you won't run out of juice !

Hey Dinesh, i never remember anyone getting paid €8 per hour working as delivery driver. As far as i know people working as food delivery drivers are on minimum wage so they work long hours to make a good pay cheque at the end of the month

@@AlexinMalta what he meant was the frame rate drops after you've reached 10% and the watch tower. Specifically when you zoomed in to the sea and when you flipped the camera you can see the frame skipped at this timecode. 😄
