Oh hell yeah, at least you had fun 👌. And that spike is sick AF. I want it 😂. I found one on the yuba while the water was low out in the middle, and it was seriously wedged into a massive split boulder. I knew what I was looking at and knew who put it there. So I wasn’t leaving without it, and it’s still one of my personal best finds because of the history of it. Even though I don’t know it, I kinda do 🤷♂️. It was hand forged and old AF.
Absolutely 💯 that pit has my attention I'm very happy I was invited up there after all these years I've stayed away ! My idea for next time is a jobsite magnet and sweep before detecting definitely more gold to be had
