@BLOCKBOI3RD Everybody isn't programmed into that work system BS. Legally slaving people on non paying 9 to 5's. 2024 if you are working a 9 to 5. 40 hours a week and not bringing in a min. $1000.00 then you are playing yourself. If you have to work 2 or 3 jobs. Just to still be behind on bills. You are playing yourself. It's night time you don't know if people have already worked. You just typing stupid comments.
@@fishtheory7529 If you don;t have at least 1 million dollars in your savings account. Then You are broke. Now let me hear your lies. I bet you think 100k is a lot of money. 1. Its good to see people come together in the neighborhood (seriously) 2. All of those hours in the streets can be better used applying to jobs, internships, schools, writing a business plan, making music, etc. When I used to live in the NYC projects, tenants would stand around and wait for the mailman because they had nothing to do all day 😭
@@yt_hatescrime_data4301baby most of da video is at night. You know how hard it can be to make it outchea yes most of those ppl have jobs of sorts. Some of that video is in the 7 downtown area ppl come out and hang and have fun.
Imagine how quickly these areas could get cleaned up (visually) if each one of these people would just pick up one peice of trash off the streets each day and not throw anymore down.
That goes against their ideologies and culture. It's the same everywhere with them. Just see baltimore, Philly, Detroit, memphis, etc... same crab as well.
Baby they will start digging up a street to fix an then turn around forget it for months and dig up another few streets😂😂😂 our mayor take trips and eat good on our money 😂😂
Since I been to both cities and I'm actually from one I think you shout do a jersey city vs new Orleans vid or new Orleans bourbon street vs jersey city MLK blvd I swear N.O reminds me of my city frfr
I remember when Katrina happened and all the New Orleans residents flooded to cities like Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Mobile and caused the crime in these cities to skyrocket. I could hear Houstonians and Atlanta residents screaming, squeaking and squealing all the way up there in Massachusetts.
@@Daveyjones-ek7on People in Dallas were predicting all sorts of doomsday nonsense about exploding crime. In the end aside from a handful of incidents nothing happened.
What is it with people walking out in front of your car and then walking slowly? Is that like a big diss, or want to check you out and make sure you are not the police?
New Orleans is another city like Detroit that has lost roughly 30% of their of their population since 2000... and it is the underbelly that is disappearing, folks who have no resources to relocate..30% is about 100,000 of the poorest of the poor people, street after street of abandoned buildings and homes that people were living in and using, now they're just empty .... and it's not like they relocated to the suburbs from those neighborhoods.. and no one is asking where did they all go.
@@patrickbyrne9282 Cleveland is BS. Nobody is trying to visit that BS!!! What are they coming there to see? This is where the Steel Mill used to be. If you look over there... At nothing good even James took his talent to south beach, Nobody I mean Nobody is talking about visiting Cleveland Ohio. Essence Fest , Jazz Fest ,French Quarter Fest , Bayou Classic , are just a few annual events in New Orleans. Not to mention the food or the music. Not talking about rap. The traffic lights in NO are always on the fritz. The police camera lights are ALWAYS flashing, unless you and your neighbors can petition the city to turn them off. Camera stays on tho.
Ive been 3 times (twice for Mardi Gras, & once for a Halloween parade) & its definitely worth seeing at least once . Its definitely a whole different kind of experience & vibe unlike any other place you would ever see . New Orleans is both amazing & sad in its own ways . The food was delicious & there is a lot of unique things to see & do . Unforgettable
New Orleans, Miami, Memphis and lots of other places are embarrassed to let First 48hrs back because of high rates of crime, and most are unsolved. Tulsa, on the other hand doesn’t have high rate of homicide and their cases are highly solved. Big difference.
Between twerking and rapping, there's a lot of talent in those streets. Louis Armstrong, Allen Toussaint, Dave Bartholomew, etc must be looking down with pride.
I am a truck driver and I had to make a delivery right next to the calliope projects I kept my gun locked and loaded and stayed my black ass inside my truck because them wolves was watching my every move. Even the Uber eats driver told me don’t park my truck in that neighborhood lol. I’m from Miami grew up there all my life but New Orleans projects is like a post apocalypse world frfr
i wouldn't have missed this video for anything cause it's the most educating thing ever. i think these videos should be required to be shown in every grade school classroom in america so kids will NOT be influenced by black culture any further.
I’m sickened to see the reality of my city. Props to you for recording this. Our government officials do not give a damn, they’re pocketing all taxpayer’s dollars to not contribute to the betterment of the people! These people did not choose to live this way. It is a result of systemic classism and racism.
It ain't all that. There are plenty of people from these areas that make something of themselves, they WORK for it though. It takes a lot of hard work and determination. These days there are plenty of ways somebody who is living in poverty can pull themselves up, the thing is most of these fools are complacent in the filth. You just gotta make sacrifices and do the damn work.
Quick question, why does RU-vid sanction me when I use the n-word in a comment, but n-words can use it all day long singing and such? If the n-word is such a negative, racist, and vile word to say, should it not be banned in any context?
First off, you don’t need to be in Louisiana Ave at that spot on :12 seconds in if you not from 3rd Ward, Uptown. Anything near Magnolia and Melphomene, you playin with your life. Including 9th Ward.
By the way, that’s my hood you were in. Magnolia, Oretha Castle Haley, the Melph, Baronne St. that’s home and they don’t play. I saw a 18 kid get shot right in front of me, ya heard me? ⚜️

This is one place on Earth to avoid...the tourism thing in NO has been played out unless you're into Voodou and Black Magic, certain Criminal Behaviors, and useless and pathetic Rap Lyrics and Beats. This helps to explain the craziness in the area.
I’m from New Orleans I was only one area that I’m familiar with and I never hung out there. I feel like they’re safe and unsafe in every city. You just have to know your surroundings where to live and where not go don’t put yourself in areas and things that you are not about and you can be safe
What's even sadder is you are worried about people who you don't even know. Let them vote for who they want to and worry about trump and his 90 federal indictments.
@@johndeaux83Atleast I don't have to tell my grandchildren that we had a president convicted of assulting a woman! Try explaining that to yours! But why shouldn't I be surprised. Like my father taught me" a zebra NEVER changes it's stripes!
