I checked with out DNR and they said this specific plastic pipe is great to build cover. If you see spools of this pipe on the side of the road , just ask them. They have to send the short pieces to the dump

Better check with your local dnr, some states do not allow it period. But it does work hehe

I mainly fish reservoirs also, do you have trouble with these in current? I set some last year and I am pretty sure they are gone, I cant find them. The lake definitely has some good current during times of the year.
