What is the difference between this and the everything notebook? Are their spots in this for science/history/extra things or just reading/writing/math? You may have already covered this.
The everything notebook has a page for science specifically and the formatting of the pages is different. The idea is a page for every subject each day. The Unofficial notebook is aspiring to bridge kids into the RC method daily schedule so while there are pages for reading lessons, spelling or vocab, math, and writing there is only one additional notebooking page for whatever RC book they are reading. Basically there is one less subject per day. I hope that makes sense.
So I just started right start this school year so I just followed the guidelines for placing my two older boys this year and since number stories was going so well with my youngest I decided to stick with it. I’ve been thinking about starting my youngest into right start second grade but I haven’t made a final decision. I’ll do a tight start flip through for all the books I have soon and compare it with number stories if that would be helpful.
