Planet Claire & Rock Lobster, The B-52s & Terri Nunn of Berlin, The Mann Center for the Performing Arts, Philadelphia, PA; September 19th, 2019; 40th Anniversary Tour with OMD & Berlin; Final songs of the night
B 52s be's almost 52s years old... They are one of the most unique bands in history.. there's a reason why they have been around for so long.. it's called greatness.
Well said and spot on my friend all the bands and musicians all need to take heed to this and have fun it's not about the money or The Prestige it's just about went out there and having fun because without the fun it would just be plain dough misery I'm just there for the money I don't care about anybody else but myself but it's all about having fun and that's what keeps everybody coming back for more.
How crazy we danced along with them! Were a fantastic part of my highschool years and then the Navy in Hawaii when Cosmic thing came out! I’ll love them ‘til the day I die!!!
I think there might be a bit of regret that they *did* dance that crazy back then - ha! But seriously, how difficult is it for them to do "Party Out of Bounds" now? Bands 1/3 their age would have a hard time doing that song live.
I want to say thank you to every member of the B-52's for their performance and every thing they have aspired to do. I hope you never stop. To hear those voices and see the beautiful ladies is a breath of fresh air. Much love .
You've gotta love the B52s all now in their 70s, still having fun, kicking butt and making magic on stage. PS I'm 72 and have loved them since the late 1970s. 🤗🤗👍👍😜😜🤪🤪😝😝
I heard the b52's when I not even teenager but my older brothers and cousins play their music, I grow in my teens,20s 30s now in my late 40s still loving this group, talent, originals,! b52s been in my life forever, good memories and present too, thank you guys you still rock, the icons never end are forever
It such a joy to watch talented musicians creating great music thats outside the norm and it’s obvious they love what they do. Fred has a perfect definitive voice for the spoken unsung song.
The quarantine is never going to end, it's going to transition in to a Marxist Socialist utopia where all your movements will be controlled by the Gov, unless you stand up and revolt
It is disgusting. It feels like I woke up from a dream & everybody is dressed up like Michael Jackson with ridiculous face masks that common sense tells us that if masks don't prevent the wearer from virus coming in then there's no way they would keep a sick person's virus from seeping out. As if we are to believe it's a one way virus that also doesn't spread at riots or protests but KILLS at church and workplaces!
Forget these cynical people and Trust in Providence. I promise you'll get to see The B-52s in concert. You me we I'm going to be okay. Maybe I'll see you there
First heard in UK on the late great John Peel late night show BBC radio one circa 1978, heady days indeed. Saw them at Aston villa leisure centre mid 1990's. No preaching politics just a damn good party band.!
Nice backhanded compliment. Like our singers of today will have that kind of staying power and they don't lipstick or use auto tune and theyre real musicians playing instruments.
Been married almost 36 years and our first concert when we were dating was The B52's at the Zoo Amphitheater in Oklahoma City in '83. Most fun I've ever had at a concert! Pogo danced all night, lol
🪐🪐🪐🦞🦞🦞 que du bon ! les années ne les atteignent même pas, toujours le délire positif et la joie de jouer ! Mon groupe favori des années 70/80 et toujours sur ma platine ! ⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🪐🦞
Saw them live in Canada at Festival Of Friends a few years back... unforgettable... they don't just put on a show, they put on a PARTAAAAY!!!!! ... There's just something about screaming out sea creature names and making quirky sounds... that's Soooo much fun, infectious!
wonderful and spectacular, the 80s the best musical era of all genres, in English and Spanish, so much musical variation was impressive, and now looking at B52 I have the impression that now they have more fun than in their time, congratulations good video, greetings from Mexicali Mexico
i love this song! spacey, mystic, absolutely 80's, when we danced to that music in the disco. the b 52's, such an experimental and unique band! there has never been anything like it ever since. music of my generation, who is still alive and kicking over 60...
Visti 40 anni fa dal vivo a Milano...sempre nel cuore!!! Planet Claire ha sempre aperto i miei Dj set (Seen 40 years ago live in Milan ... always in the heart !!! Planet Claire has always opened my DJ sets)
Saw them 20 years ago on New Year's Eve in Maui. It was a wild raucous and totally fun evening. Imagine a bunch of grown adults hitting the floor when Fred sang"DOWN DOWN DOWN"during Rock Lobster
Fred Schneider cracks me up. I never really got his schitk until e early 2000's. The guy is hilarious! He's the Master of Ceremonies, live!! Love him (and the gals as well!).

I went to see them at the Sage Newcastle Uk & they still have that crazy edge . So different to anyone else. Great tunes that will last for ever. Long live the B52s. 👍🇬🇧🎸🎼🕺🏻🎤
@@Senna-xi1gr Yeah I saw them 80s in New Zealand 🇳🇿 Very memorable, very weird ! They released a live album from that concert called Rockinandreelinaucklandnewzealand. Unfortunately for them they never had any big hits like the B52s who made a fortune off Loveshack. Rock on from down under ⚡️⚡️👍🏻
I saw the B-52's for the first time in 1978 at CBGB'S I was 13 years old. No I.D. check at the time that was when you felt like you can conquer the world! I was excited to see them and finally, I had found my music scene. No Disco or Hard Rock which was for my older cousins. New Wave and Punk were for me. It was new and exciting and had so much energy. I was a lucky boy to live in NYC at the time
I was at this show. Very fun. The crowd was so into the Rock Lobster, everyone was jumping and dancing and just having a great time. Might be the last time I see the group so, I was very happy to see them at one of the best shows I saw that year.
Awesome. Let me tell you, I saw this tour, I didn’t even know who Berlin was....But good Lord, they were completely awesome! They really rock the house. I was blown away by them. The B-52s were of course awesome as well. So yes it took me a while to become a B-52s fan, but gosh darn it I’m a lifer now. Love these guys so much. What a great night that was.
I seen them a year before this in Atlantic City, they were awesome ! I was about 10 feet from Freds feet , and man his eyes were blasted. They looked like they had been soaking in diesel fuel , and the one chick never took her sunglasses off during the entire performance , not even when she took a bow at the end. I think they had been up for days.
I'm older and kinda reminded today that I'm stuck at home in a certain way. I would so love to leave my personal prison to see them once before they are only a you tube video. Thank anyone who has shared their own experience with these artists
