Join Community Manager Bo and Lead Artist Sam Denney tonight for a first look at the Summer Update coming on June 27! We will be going through all of the new features, rides, coasters, and of course: show off billboards and fireworks!
If you want to submit your amazing work to be reviewed during our next session, please email your creation's Steam page URL to community@frontier.co.uk with a clear subject header (Workshop Wonderland Submission/PlanEd Boster).

unbelievable update. If they continue this trend they will most likely release a fall update in about 3 or 4 months. But after that, I really hope they start working on paid expansions with twice as much content as these free updates & it should include a weather system and a full water park add-on.

I would LOVE paid big expansions on Planet Coaster. Frontier showed how they respect players with this game, and they deserve credit for it.

If they do a water park I would like it to be separate to your main park so you can have a second park as a water park. But in the same file as your main park if you know what I mean. Also where gonna more land with a waterpark add on.

Zak Bouve I would happily pay for a big expansion. I just have my fingers crossed they don't add MICROTRANSACTIONS for smaller items such as scenery items etc

Please add a feature, that you can connect the Security Cameras to this screens and that you see on the screen (live) what the camera sees! That would be awsome!

Thank you Bo and Sam for showing off the unprecedented talent and extreme hard work and dedication the development team have continued putting into Planet Coaster.

A weather system is usually more a gimmick than something which actually contributes to the game, I really don't want them to waste time on that. Unless they make guests even more complicated and make them want things more or less at certain types of weather. But how would that work for dark rides and flat rides which have roofs?

Rain had an impact on brakes and people choosing to not go on certain rides aswell as guest turn up rate in RCT 3.

Customizable wall panels with textures that you can get from anywhere. This is kind of a big deal....Major potential game changer here. that is pretty incredible.

Oh, my gosh! I loooove the Blackout (looping starship). I have been waiting for a ride like that for a long time! It looks gorgeous!! The observation tower is the greatest thing, too! Oh, I love this game! Only thing I'm waiting on now is the sky buckets, sternwheeler, and boat ride elements! You guys are fantastic! Thank you!!

Blackout is a GREAT flat ride that will fit perfectly around my "Rocket City" coaster. The Rocket City building has the Saturn V rocket in it at Johnson Space Center.

I´m very happy with this update. The billboards are so lovely. I hope that swimming pools and waterslides will come soon. I will be at holidays in Scotland when the update comes out.

Great stuff, like always. But here I am, still waiting for custom height option for the freefall rides and observation towers. Also, billboards with waiting times would be nice too ;)

What I miss: A bobslide, One more water ride (with a boat) And you should can build the path into the ground, or into the mountain, with automaticly built tunnels. Would be really usefull.

I know they've said they don't want to do object scaling due to resizing textures--which makes sense. However, they could at the very least allow us to scale the art pieces. That would go a long way toward diversifying what's possible to build.

I really want to see 'sideshows' found in theme park world. Little attractions like arcades, hook a duck, test your strengh etc to fill in the gaps in your park with activity and add a new means of income.

I would really like a random map generator. I love building parks that look interesting but whenever I use the terrain tools it always looks silly (my lack of skill, the tools are really nice). I'd love to be able to push a button and generate hills and terrain to work with and build around.

I'm dying for a Zoo Tycoon DLC like you guys did for RCT3. I'd love to have my guests being entertained by monkeys, giraffes, zebras, elephants, penguins, lions, bears, etc. Will this be at all possible in future updates?

Can you add two new features to billboards? The first is ability to make video queue, for example - there are 5 videos in queue and when first ends, seconds one starts, and when last one ends the first one starts, like that. And second is a setting to turn sound on and off, so video with sound can play without it

The Trox Rus you can do that by editing it in any video editing software. It also seems to just loop anyways so that's already possible.

@The Trox sounds like you can already do the 1st using a 'Display Sequencer' shown at 1:23:38 (and on). As for playing video without sound. They said initially video will no have sound 1:14:45. (Tho adding sound should just be a case of using a speaker and syncing it with billboard using a 'Display Sequencer'). But removing sound from a video file is usually quite easy.

Is there a way only to activate the fireworks by just pressing a button and starting it? As in, not activated by a trigger, not a a specific time, and not on loop, and not continuous?

Auggie Whitman you can preview fireworks when you select them, but they will only work once triggered.
