It's a little forest crab related to the "red claw crabs" that you see for sale in pet stores. It's called Geosesarma malayanum.

Lol, 2 different types of "crabs" rely on this plan for it's food, how interesting. It's also interesting to think that the enzymes in the water don't hurt either species, intriguing indeed...

this is an example of a perfect design for a plant to eat by catching its own food by attracting itself to insects.

such complex ecological relationships inside a single pitchere are amazing. I don't recall seeing something so complex and trilling in the "holy" scriptures.
