PlanetSide 2: Fortification Trailer 

After so many years this game still looks epic planning to return back for another ride

It's crazy that this game is still getting support. It's nice, something I can always return to no matter how long it's been.

I still think regularly about the time I've spent in this game. It was my first FPS and I loved it. It was my first time playing in a Team, talking over Teamspeak with my buddies while fighting in these crowded fights!

Keep it up, i came back to the game after 6 years and everything still feeling pretty awesome

This is by far the best multiplayer fps I've ever played. Makes Destiny and the like feel like mud pies.

something they dont mention in this video is that bases can be destroyed rather easily even with modules and they removed automated turrets so you NEED people there to defend.

Hard to believe that this game is still getting support and is still being updated. I remember when this game was announced when I was still playing Everquest 2 during my middle school days. How time flies.

Update went in usual PlanetSide style Some bugs, some fps drops, and huge amounts of dudes on every front. Fights were *massive*

As much as I love Planetside 2, I'm hoping Planetside 3 is in the works. We don't really know how much longer this game has after 16 years, only the devs do. It's cool that it's still being updated, but more hands on the next installment(If there even is one) would be better.

the reason i got into PC gaming was to play planetside 2, the graphics and gameplay along with such a huge map where hundreds of people can play and fight at the same time was a crazy thing back then. even nowadays you dont really see games like it and i dont understand why, i put so many hours into this game of pure enjoyment

Am I being a bit harsh about my evaluations on the new Construction features? Probably. There are some things that are good. The rebirthing center is good. No longer do you or others spawn in to your ANT base and get insta-killed by a sniper. There is still the Elysium death tube option. I found the Anti-Infantry Turret. I'm not sure what happened, but I don't understand why it's in two places, one in Turrets and the other in Base constructs. The only useful modules are the skyshield, penetration shield, and heavy damage repair. The others only last for 60 seconds but it will take a stroke of luck to not get killed to obtain and install them under a zerg. The rebirthing center should have been integrated with the Command Center, not sure why the Skyshield module does not work for the Command Center when it's installed on the Rebirthing one even though it allowed me to install it. Weird. Probably a bug. One important question. Did they even bother to ask the people who build ANT bases to see what is and is not working? Or did they only listen to those one-man destruction shows who cried about not being able to destroy the ANT base in seconds? The walls not interlocking has been a long standing issue, totally ignored in the update. Impossible to get a continuation of defensive wall without some gaps between them. Nothing seems to integrate well with wall structures . I have yet to try the other defensive structures so I can't speak to them. Further, I wished I didn't lose my extra walls that I had purchased some time ago. Never got reimbursed for them under the last update when they took away the ANT's cloaking ability. I was excited to try this new update but upon reflection maybe I should have waited until the uproar from those with influence could at least make some much needed changes. Also, the concept of building ANT bases further into enemy territory looks like it failed. All I could see is a bunch of silos in friendly territory. Of course, the easily destructible bases are at more risk of being pulverized in seconds in enemy territory. Maybe if there were some construction features that allowed an inherent stronger structure that can withstand a hard core attack that perhaps more players would be inclined to build in enemy territory. That would be worth doing and increase the challenge of a fight in random places versus building deep in friendly territory where the fight might not ever happen. If you read this far, you get extra XP and a directive bonus.

I wish they would buy command and conquer license. I really want to see a command and conquer game in this engine. I would also like to see a G.I. Joe game on this engine as well.
