I got another cousin for next yr. But I wish it had the same color scheme as the original. Just black and white. The red throws it off for me. I don't use kits so I can't always cover sunday. :)

Hello! Like you, I have been journaling in the cousin avec for the past few years….however, I began in the a6 Hobonichi English version, full year. As I look back on my journals, the a6 journals are my favorites! I love having the full year together and also love how compact and attractive they are! So, for 2022 I am returning to my a6 roots!

For the perpetual calendar I would even suggest their heights ! I don’t have little beans of my own, but I’ve heard they grow like weeds :)

Hii!! For next year I will continue using a bullet journal for my planning and anything I need to write down (thoughts, notes, work, personal, lists, etc). I do the original method so I don't predecide anything in the notebook and just write anything I want straight into the next available page! I'm in my 10th such notebook right now! If I write too much, then I change notebooks every 2-4 months. I like having a small wall monthly calendar for appointments etc instead of having to open a notebook and I have a ring binder for occasional lists I want to have available for longer. For journaling, I will continue using a hobonichi cousin avec next year! And I will add a Moleskine pocket daily (yellow peanuts) for notes on my nutrition and health etc, and a 5-year midori (red door). I tried the hobonichi 5-year at some point but I didn't enjoy the design of it much. I have also purchased a jibun techo weekly but I'll see if I continue using it this year for tracking the time I do what or not. I tend to change things often during the year so maybe I'll use it here and there depending on the mood! 😊 I may also add a manga free style journal where I want to print and stick down the covers of the volumes I read each month/period! Not something too complicated there, haha! 😃

The Nolty looks like such a great planner! This year I went from 2 books to 9 🤣 Next year my main planner & journal will be in my regular TN & I have 2 supplemental memory keepers in passport TNs... plus about 6 other random planners for different projects 😅

Weeks has been my main planner for 2 years now and I am also using a Jubin Techo B6 slim as my medical tracker as I need to track several issues and want it separate from a planner to take to the Dr for the many appts coming up next year. I often watch video's about life in Japan and I was shocked that people leave their bicycles outside and they don't ger stolen?? Often here you have not only lock them but chain and lock them as they will steal parts off if they can't get the whole bike> That just amazed me like people keeping unpaid packages outside. Blessings to you and your family.

LOL crazy, right?! There is a small shop (that I walk by sometimes).. It was advertising some computer/programming items and there was a point in time where the shop would just have their laptop outside, displaying some video out on this table along the roadside..People would just walk by, the laptop untouched lol

2022 will be my first time using a Nolty (I usually plan in a Jibun or a Hobo). I've already started using it and I'm loving it so far! I do wish it had a Gantt chart like the Jibun but I'll make it work with the yearly page.

Which size Nolty is it? There are so many variations of Nolty and I know that they offer the gantt chart in certain sizes. I am sure that you will make it work with the yearly page though :) Thank you always for watching!

My plans for 2022 include: Jibun Techo B6 Diary for master planning, Jibun Techo B6 Days for daily work appointments and tasks, Hobonichi Weeks for personal and volunteer projects, Hobonichi Weeks (a second one) for health planner, and Hobonichi Techo A6 for daily journal with a little creativity.

Many many people using the Jibun --its intriguing and it's something I want to try again, but maybe for 2023 lol I think it's so awesome that you are keeping track of your volunteer projects too!

Have you thought about getting an Avec A6 for your beautiful Very Hungry Caterpillar A6 Hobonichi cover and using the full year A6 book inside for something else rather than trying to make it work for your full year journal. If you can't use it yourself, would your Husband or son use it. Or maybe you could sell it, I know you prefer the Avec version as you like to add stickers and tipins etc and the full year book becomes difficult to work in as the year progresses.

Thank you for the input ! :)) My husband uses his A5 stalogy and you're right, my kids would probably use the A6 notebook, but I think I will try to use it first. I'm trying my best not to spend on more notebooks hahah It will force me to doodle more, ..or so I'm hoping haha Thank you for watching!

One of the last things you showed was the bigger leather cover I really like that. I’m using a Hobonichi day free for my journal for 2022 and I would like to add a calendar like a travelers notebook. Any suggestions on what kind of cover that would fit in??

Hello! If you aren't opposed to having different sized notebooks in one TN cover, you can add both into an A5 cover. I've done that in the past. I have housed an A5 notebook along with a regular TN insert :) The height is the same, so it fits into the elastic nicely :)) Thank you for watching!
