I just enabled a free 7 day trial for a long trip coming up. Already I am realizing that I cannot pick a route like with Google. I understand that this is routing me along the safe places, but I know for a fact that the first 250 miles can be driven down the Natchez Trace, where I can easily stop with the dogs, and drive slow (read: better mpg). I am trying to drag the trip, but it's not very intuitive and is creating multiple waypoints along the way, but simply won't allow me to just select the Natchez Trace... I am going to keep tinkering with it, but so far I am not off to a good start... Otherwise, great job on the different ideas when using the Trip Wizard. Great video. Thanks!

Thanks!!! So do you do separate trips ? One for the one there and one for the way back?

Only if it’s a loop, out and back I only map out one way.

What Wi-Fi network or call service works well on the road? Would I just use my cell phone as a Wi-Fi hot spot?

Yes, you use your phone's cell service BUT you can download the maps for your route so that when/if you lose cell service, it still is able to navigate for you.
