What if you mix yogurt, nuts and coco? Well you absolutely can and the result is a delicious, high protein easy to make snack! You can put it together in no time, change the flavor or add some orange zests and create your signature taste!
INGREDIENTS:
300g if any fresh nuts of your choice
Approx. 150 g of your favorite vegan yogurt
2 tablespoons of agave or maple syrup
50g unsweetened cocoa powder (1/2 cup)
1/3 cup dry coconut
METHOD:
Add the nuts to a food processor, blend them until they are finally crushed.
Transfer the crushed nuts to a bowl then add the remainder of the ingredients except the dry coconut.
Mix everything very well until you end ups with a firm dough that can be easily shaped and does not stick to your hands when manipulated.
Oil your hands and scoop a small amount of the dough and shape them into balls, then into discs.
Add the coconut to a separate plate, and coat the discs with the coconut, and transfer it to a plate. Repeat the process with all the yogurt dough.
The yogurt chocolate bites will last for up to 10 days in the fridge and up to 2 months in the freezer.
