I bought one if your solid purple cane begonia from Walmart. It is beautiful but finicky waterwise...I am still looking for a happy medium that it will thrive in. My rex begonias got huge...but rex are very light sensitive...even in my covered patio they show distress at times.

Sorry to hear you're having some troubles with your Cane Begonia. In general, we've found they tend to be a little more finicky about water when they're not grown in bright light. So potentially, if you have a brighter spot, that may help? As a general rule, if you're in doubt, it's better to keep them a little too dry than a little too wet. Does that help at all?

@@CostaFarms I moved it last week to a brighter spot in the bedroom. Thank you Costa Farms for you plant articles. I read every single one of them that comes through my email subscription. Had I been rich a would build a whole greenhouse full of Costa Farms plant...right now 125 plants in the house not including outside patio plants keeps me plenty busy. Keep those articles coming. Thanks again!

Love these, but could you guys please name the plants. It's not that hard to do, where ever you found it & whatever they call it, name it that. Sheesh, it's hard enough trying to complete plant collections, because you guys won't share your shipment manifests to the local stores, so customers can know what & when plants are coming, but now you don't want to name the plants too!?! Why be so difficult???
