An introduction to the importance of plant litter decomposition phenomenon. Between the woods and the coasts of Gargano along with the splendid Pennataro wood in Alto Molise, we will see how and why a leaf or a branch decomposes differently than an animal and how the decomposition of plant material also regulates the climate of the world.
