I went mid-summer by myself, 'me time' you could say. But I met some enthusiastic plant lovers, had random conversation about plants. It was a great day!

Wow thanks for sharing! Those water lily pads are amazing! Kinda looks like muffin cups/tins, not sure what they are called since I don’t bake lol. So cool seeing our houseplants in a greenhouse! They get so big and huge! If only we all lived in giant homes with high ceilings 😅
Die grote waterlelie bladeren (spanwijdte van 1 meter oid) hebben ze ook bij diergaarde blijdorp. Mijn dochter heeft ze laatste gezien met haar schoolreisje.
Ooh that's cool! Yeah they can become so big! From what i know at the Hortus Leiden, they propagate by stem cuttings not by seeds so that must be easiest?
@@plantwithroos maybe. I’m not all that good with plants and they seem to do well with my neglect so I’m not going to attempt it. I repotted them a few weeks ago so I’m hoping they forgive me. Fingers crossed
