I cured my plantar fasciitis by changing my diet, cutting out inflammation causing foods. It's quite sad how little this is talked about that most health issues come from diet.

My impression is that Superfeet are pretty good inserts and I have several pair. I also have 4 sets of custom designed (by a podiatrist) inserts, which I got after foot surgery on one foot (which had two Morton's neuromas) ~20 years ago. FYI, PF is almost always treated right off the bat by doing calf stretching exercises on a regular basis.

CIearly a sponsored by Treadlabs video. I discovered 'Form' brand inserts when I started my job 5 years ago. I pay the $40 out of pocket for them every time I get a boot voucher and I do so HAPPILY! I haven't had a single foot arch pain in the last 5 years and I work 10 hour days on a poured concrete floor in work boots. They are fantastic! Cushion doesn't matter, forget all that gel crap. It's SUPPORT that matters and the form inserts do just that, they actually form to YOUR foot. You warm them in the oven then put them in and waer them for that day. You don't even have to use the oven method with them though but feel free too if you want, I never have. I don't want to walk around in my dirty, metal chip encrusted workboots in the house to contour them. Just start wearing them and they'll do the rest over a work week or so time. I can't believe how long they last too, they really do hold up for a year's time minimum. Best money I spend once a year. I DO NOT work for them or have any affiliation whatsoever, they're just that good.

here's several things you can try Test out a natural remedies for plantar foot. Something as simple as ginger root, which can be found at your drug store, is a great anti-inflammatory. Ginger root is in the class of plants known as Cox inhibitors. This means they help inflammation naturally. Another good remedy for pain is Bromelain. Bromelain is an enzyme got from pineapples. If you drink the raw juice or eat raw pineapple, you can gt advantage from the properties of Bromelain. This is natural healing at its very best. Hi Raven, thanks for watching. I do wear tread labs in my work shoes and walking shoes because they’re comfortable and they provide support beyond the standard insert you get in shoes out of the box. There are a lot of different inserts you can try. I’ve purchased a lot myself and have seen dozens of inserts in the clinic. My goal with this video was to share some of the best features I’ve seen in shoe inserts and to compare it against the insert I use (Tread Labs) as it’s a great insert in my opinion. I hope you find a solution that meets your needs!

I'm going to get some TreadLabs insoles, but I can't decide between the Pace and the Dash insoles. I have had plantar fasciitis for two years and I've been wearing Curex RunPro for both running and everyday activity. Which TreadLabs insole do you think is more compatible with running AND wearing around, keeping my PF recovery in mind?
@PTProgress
@PTProgress 4 года назад
I’d recommend starting with the Pace as it is more versatile in my opinion. Does your PF only bother you when you run or throughout the day. If it’s more general, I think the more general insole would be appropriate. If your PF is strictly with running, then the dash may be more appropriate as it provides even greater structure to match your increased activity level.

Hi. Did you find an insole that relieved the pain ? My gf has plantar fac. I'm looking and asking
@highonsmog
@highonsmog 2 года назад
@@dougferguson5581 Yes. Rule of thumb is flip flops makes it 10x worse. I bought a new rigid shoe with a soft outer sole, and replaced the cheap insole with the soft foam insole I took from an older work shoe (sole markings: rf 8620.) The point is to stop the arch from being compressed by a tight upper with a hard flat sole, nor a loose fitting shoe that allows your foot to move inside the shoe. If you already have a rigid shoe, get a new insole that fits the arch she has. Flatter arches require more soft cushioning though. Hence, adding the cushioned foam. To test if shoe rigid, just bend it normally with two hands. If it gives, it's too flexible. Second, shoes or sandals with straps can only ever be worn. Finally, use knuckles to massage plantar fascia area to speed healing. I'M not a dr, this is just what I did for PF. YMMV!

MY feet do need pillow like softness. I like yoga mat insoles because they provide cushion and rebound support. I also under probate which is opposite of what most peoples feet do so many inserts do not work well for me. Also since I'm a true 10.5 and most womens shoes only come in half sizes up to 9.5 and then go from 10 to 11 the arch tends to be in the wrong spit.

If you absolutely have to run without stopping, find a inclined area and run shorter lengths and keep turning around. If you have to run to different places the whole running time then find a trail and run on the front of your feet only. Just below the toes but not the middle of your feet.

I suffered from plantar fasciitis for around 3 years. I tried stretching, night sprint and ice for around 2 years without much relief. After that, I tried a steroid injection as advised by a renowned doctor but after 6-month more intense pain returned. One of the doctors advised me to reduce weight and wear a “doctor extra soft slipper”. As I can’t wear slipper to the office, I bought a pair of gel nimbus as advice over the blogs. **And surprisingly, the pain was gone within 10 days of the use of gel nimbus and doctor slippers. **I just made sure to wear either the show or slippers and never walked barefoot. Gel nimbus 22 was expensive but worth each penny, but not sure about latest nimbus versions.

You can absolutely wear slippers to the office. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. The only people who might have legitimate issues would be high-intensity lawyers/negotiators w/e. You don't support the arch. You support the foot from the rear. Just like a roman arch, if you push up on the keystone the arch collapses. I sold athletic footwear and Superfeet for 18 years. A good footbed is like a firm mattress for back support. Firm provides support and cushion. Soft only provides cushion with no support. Stay away from foam and gel insoles.
