Planter Hooked Up 

Never had any luck with them. Peel up mud then it sticks to the gauge wheels and then your seed depth isn’t really right

I've never had an issue with it and I got them on my John Deere 7000 planter no till coulter's and the whole works don't have an issue

From my experience I would definitely recommend taking off the no till coulters. Even for no till

The no-till coulters if left on should not be as deep as the disc openers and the row cleaners need to sweep the coarse residue out of the way to avoid hairpinning residue in the seed trench. Not sure if I could post pictures here but I had a lockup ball valve from a deere tillage machine along with some tee fittings to allow us to use the fold circuit to run the markers on our 1760

No till Coulters are good for saving the openers if ya got rocks, otherwise their useless.

I pull the coulter off to plant corn and just run the trash whippers. I feel if it's a little damp underneath the coulter pulls up clumps and messes up the trench before the openers get there. This would be for corn.
