I live in Colorado and just started filling my pots up with many beautiful colors. After a long winter, a little color just revives the soul! I love looking out the big picture window and seeing so much color! It’s going to be a great summer, Soleil! 🤗🤗☺️💐🦩🌷🌺🐰
Thanks so much for another great garden video my dear friend always enjoy coming over and seeing your beautiful videos and your beautiful gardens. Your garden tours are just wonderful thank you so much for sharing.
Looking forward to seeing how they look once blended in with you garden, specially the precious purple allysum. I started this week using a lot of supertinias
Thanks so much, my dear friend for another great video and thanks for sharing your beautiful garden with us. You do a beautiful job on your gardening videos and sharing your beautiful garden.
I have definitely thought of that, but have not been able to to decide on a style and I would have to add more holes into the brick.....I make a huge mess when cooking too!!!
Hi, Years ago, I used to grow a lot of impatience (in England we call them Bussy Lissys). Some years back however, Impatience plants in the UK all got some sort of wilt disease and so I have not grown them since. Which is a shame. 😢😢
I started planting the last week of April here in Holland Mi, 6b. I do make a big fat mess and it's okay because I'm burning calories! You mentioned that you use Miracle-Gro fertilizer and many gardeners agree as do Master Gardeners like myself that Miracle Gro fertilizer is probably one of the worst that you can use on plants. It is SO strong that if used incorrectly, the fertilizer will actually burn the leaves and roots of your plants (you may have already experienced this). Imagine what it's doing to the healthy bacteria, fungi and other soil microbes that are working so hard to provide the nutrients your plants need. A quality fertilizer if you can find it is WATER SOLUBLE, not synthetic. I use Espoma products AND fish, bat and guano fertilizer. I never use Miracle Gro soil either unless it's the only soil that's available then I guess I will use it but it's not my soil of choice. What I do is make my own soil recipe using Biochar, greensand, composted manure, peat, vermiculite, perlite and I'll pick up a bag of potting soil from an independent nursery. I use large barrels to mix the soil and I add the fertilzer to the mix.
My squirrels right now are planning for the future. They have decided that we NEED to plant more black walnut trees and are doing so in my containers. Needless to say I’m not happy with the squirrels right now. If ever. 💐💚🙃
Your containers turned out nice. Seems like it's hard to find flats of flowers at home Depot or Lowe's. Like your pants your wearing. I seen a pair like that advertised on the you tube channel.
everything looks so pretty! all the colors will look great together. I Love alyssum onot only for the smell but for the colors and the softness, but it scares me, with self seeding, do you have that issue? it's been a few years since i have used it. Genie : )
I LOVE impatients ! Hoping that I can find some reasonably priced. I LOVE PW plants but for a short growing season I feel that I don’t get my moneys worth out of them so I usually buy perennials and shrubs from them. 💐💚🙃
Wondering if the deer in your area like impatiens? They do where I live so I am reluctant to use them which is a bummer as they are so beautiful and low cost.
@@Suburbanoasis I spray too. Mostly my perennials. Sometimes I have wondered if spraying annuals negativity affects them? I have not used liquid fence. I have used Bobbex, deer out, etc.
