@@theskinnypinehuntingco.6346 It will be interesting that's for sure. I appreciate these videos because I can learn something, too. We planted some oats in the Texas Hill Country last year and had deer in there. But we didn't do nearly as much to the soil as you have.
@theskinnypinehuntingco.6346
@@AldensAntlers really? Thats awesome. Well you likely didnt need to. But most of us are just trying to make something happen and that means buying a bag of mixed seed, throwing it out there and hoping for the best lol Ive been there! Nothing wrong with that either, im just trying to see what it takes to maximize something like this you know? If possible.. lol

Great video…liked and subscribed! Here’s to hoping you get to the 1000 subscribers soon! You did great on your plot, throwing the lime to it was a great choice! Beans can be really tough in small spots like that, planting extra and keeping the deer off them until they established will prevent your beans from being completely destroyed. Congrats on the subscribers!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! I’m definitely learning a lot this year and I can’t wait to see what happens this fall. Checked on everything this morning and the peas and what beans are there are still getting mowed down but the millit and sorghum are about 8” high so pretty cool to see. Hoping it helps the soil going into the fall. I may have to expand one of these plots to a full half acre or more next year 🤠

Good video. Probably gonna need some electric fencing out there. In SC here and trying to do the same.

Yea it they don’t last long here! I haven’t forced myself to do the fence. Was going to plant some more in the fall but there are literally NO SEEDS in Texas!
