the stalling aspect of it in pvz1 is garbage because of how every other staller is just better at it. plus, the butters lasts for a lot less time than plants like snow pea. pvz2's kernel is fine but nothing notable

Spring bean is however good at PvZ Heroes. Its a poor man’s shamrocket and its really strong especially in Bean Decks with admiral navy bean. Sure he bounces, making the opponent play the card again, but this is gonna be the meta if shamrocket gets nerfed, it really also removed all resources that the opponent put into that zombie. It even removes small guys for guaranteed lethal that isnt a brainy hero with teleport.

I remember sweeping whole map of zombies with this combo, it was so broken

plant food alone won't elevate it to S tier for me; plus, i've gone through bwb without using infi-nut on multiple occasions, it isn't a necessity. regular infi-nut survives only like 3000 health which is less than most others, i'd rather use primal nut or something

@@660nj it’s the best blocker at actually blocking. Plant as many as you want because unlike literally all the other plants it’s pretty much permanent.

Infi-Nut is a good plant but it's nowhere near Underated, I'd say it's kinda the opposite

@@dapperpotatoes8473 but primal wall-nut has more health, costs same amount of sun, survives a few gargantuar attacks, and has a 5 second recharge at level 1. I think if you have a primal wall-nut level 2, you can infinitely stall a gargantuar. primal wall-nut is arguably better than infi-nut.

The fact Fry em up ranked Puff shroom S Tier is just so good. Even ShyGuyMask when he ranks puff shroom top 1 or S+ Tier, higher than Winter melon.

We need puff shrooms to be in the PVZ shooters and we'll have it all

@@kidsIIIII009 Dont follow Fry em up tier lists please, Puff shroom isnt really that amazing on Heroes since its only 2 uses are being fodder for 2 other plants, Which isnt that remarkable, And outside of that is practically worse Lil buddy since its healing effect is far better than a miserable 1 attack, The decks who use the card can exploit that 0 cost better (Onion rings as an example) and that is tied to Solar, A more reliable class

In PVZ1, They could also help take down Screen Door Zombie, Ladder Zombie, and even Snorkel Zombie when underwater.

If i’m not wrong its damage is the equivalent to a cabbage pult but only with splash damage but the downsides make it useless just use fire peashooter or snapdragon much better

honestly I think they are very good. •They are perfect to start when your defense is not set yet and you don't have much sun, since one of them can defend 3 lanes. •with a single strike they can hit multiple zombies, even in other lanes; so once you plant a decent number of them your house is pretty much safe •they can easily destroy every grave on your lawn I used them in almost every level and completed the game with very little struggle.

@@Emanuele_Polisena Lightning reed’s pretty good i’d say it’s either A or S because i’ve used him from ww (wild west) until NMT (Neon Mixtape Tour) it’s really good because it can attack a lot of zombies when soammed and is cheap like even 2 or 3 lightning reeds can cover the whole lane

Lightning reed carried me through every world after wild west and half of modern day lmao, it's definitely an S tier plant especially if rotobaga and starfruit are up there

Carried my no plant food run until big wave beach where I am stuck on since the fisherman are painful without the infinitely barrier.

@@gaopinghu7332 they intended those plants for penny's pursuit, which is known for basic zombies that cant be killed with 2 peashooters (also known as leveled zombies), they never intended it for adventure and thats why you need to grind for it. also popcap makes most of these decisions so you saying "ea sucks" is like saying that a grandparent sucks because their child is abusive to their grandchildren

Snap and roto are the most underrated plants in the game I would say. While I myself don't like snap dragon too much as I prefer the raw DPS of bonk choy, I like that I can use both to work well with eachother. Rotobaga, which I only unlocked recently since I've only been seriously playing pvz 2 recently, has been so good for damage. Even though each shot is 30 damage technically, a single upgrade for it does more than anything else to help it. It is a straight 50% damage buff for the first upgrade, and since you would spam roto a lot, the HP buff is also very useful compared to so many other plants. Magnifying grass has been getting more of a spotlight in recent months due to RU-vidrs like Wolfy who have been using it tons for easy level completion, and it obviously deserves the spotlight of S tier. Only thing I don't agree too much with is the placement of guacodile. It feels like a slower peashooter with a good mechanic for when zombies get close, but it isn't too useful of a mechanic unless there are no defensive plants or they have tons of high HP zombies. And if you plant it in front of defensive plants then you may aswell just use jalapeno tbh

It's one of those plants that are decent but you've never used it because of high cost. Same thing can be used for Citron and Banana Launcher.

Moonflower is actually broken on its own. It's a sunflower that yields the same as a twinflower. It's recharge is kind of slow, but it's insane midgame and further. It allows you to place high cost plants in very low time and with the quantity of great cheap stallers, moonflower is even better.

Everyone know how broken this combo is.

Hello , Nyuk ! Bowling Bulb is one of the worst plants in Pvz2 at levels 1-2. But when you level it up to high levels it can devastate the zombies in Arena and in 3 chili zomboss fights in Penny's Pursuit. Right now I am using Bowling Bulb , Pea Vine , Torchwood , Stickybomb Rice and Puffball in today's Vamporcini tournament and am on top of Jade League .

@@yes3410 That's right. I really grinded it out to get Bowling Bulb to a high level - no hacks , no spending real money . Right now my BB is at mastery 78 . I first started playing Pvz2 Sept 30, 2020 .

@@Lord_Rowlet man sticky bomb rice is op. It can shoot three lanes and has insane damage. It’s comparably cheap too. And definitely better than lightning reed when spammed. Not to mention it stuns for a long time.

The problem is that in JM, it just fucks you with 5 columns of bucketheads with blue raptor in early game, meaning it gives you less time to spam roto and sunflowers. But in big wave beach, its suprisingly easy than JM because it doesn't have annoying gimmicks like the dinos fucking you over. Except for the low tide gimmick. BWB pretty much gives you more time to spam roto.

@@crispybacon2 I found rotobaga to be the only effective counter to those flying dinos in jurassic marsh, cause split pea frankly sucks at backline defense

Lightning reed, meanwhile, is pretty consistently useful. There's no situation where lightning reed spam is actively bad, except maybe anti Fila-mint buffs and bruises.

@@mangostestes9371 tried that, and although I'm REALLY high level, the garg died pretty quick to four lanes. Honestly, it IS kinda hard to judge plants when you're over leveled, since even the worst plant can clean house at that point. Still, even if lightning reed isn't QUITE up at the top of the plants in terms of quality, I still really believe he undersold it. Especially when putting it below, I repeat, *coconut cannon* .

there are a lot of questionable decisions on this list. Especially bowling bulb being at F tier, even though it still does its job well at level 1.

yea i love solar tomato. wish it wasn't so overlooked but has the same problem as sun bean and gold leaf where the main sun producers are just so powerful on their own that you often don't need the secondaries

i think laser bean or red stinger does the job better, red stinger is cheaper and has an inf pierce plant food, and laser bean is just as expensive but has inf pierce and a pretty amazing plant food, better than the repeater. I also think putting the pea pod above is just, weird in my opinion cause of how expensive the pea pod can become, like its 125 for one extra bit of damage per shot, so laser bean should definitely be at least higher than pea pod

​@@kingpig8732 I have to disagree with your point in Red's PF effect. While I do admit that I think Red is better than Repeater, Repeater I think has a better PF. Red's overall damage in his PF isn't really that impressive.

@@10thDoctorWhoovez your right about that, the total damage from repeater is 2,400 while red stinger's is 1,380 but i think its just really safe, it makes sure it's full damage is utilised all of the time, if for example there was a jester zombie or an excavator zombie or a shielded zombie on a lane, Repeater's would just completely or pretty much wasted but Red's can get everything which i think is useful for thinning the crowd

its still a pretty big difference, after all getting 200 sun isn't hard. 2 peashooters is actually quite substantial damage

The coco cannon is not a good plant for being the ONLY attacking plant. It’s very similar to winter melon. It weakens the zombies a lot for your other plants to finish them

citron has no splash damage and coconut does enough splash to kill (or at the very least do a lot of damage) to most zombies. its direct damage is 900 in comparison to citron's 800, too. i feel coconut is really good at crowd control because of this. not the best, sure, but it's still very good at it. potato mine is exactly what is advertised, an early game "staller" if you will. if you know how long it takes for a potato to charge anyway, it can still be used effectively outside of the earlygame

@@JavaCake in my opinion Laser bean is a better repeater, literally costs the same, however has 26 dps instead of laser bean's 13, but laser bean has a much better plant food and primary attack cause it hits all zombies in a lane, plus it hits excavator zombies through their shovel and penetrates many other shields. And personally with attributes like that, Laser bean is probably more like crowd control for stronger plants who want to focus on stronger enemies

@@a_naotenhonome780 keenel pult and snow pea exist. Plus, the fact that it does no damage makes it pretty much waste space, especially because it’s slow effect isn’t that significant. The only reason 66 put it that high is because he always uses magnifying grass. A strategy where you plant like 3 rows of plants, meaning that in magni strategies sap fling is actually needed. Everywhere else where you plant more than 20 plants, sap fling essentially wastes space. Just run stallia amd kernel, alternatively snow pea if you have it.

How is banana and coco-nut cannon so high on the tier list? Banana has no area damage, he only does damage in one lane, and doesn’t do as much damage as cob cannon. Cob cannon basically shot free cherry bombs every few seconds.

@@j-t-v-ideos6583 After using Cob canon in PvZ1, Banana launcher is honestly very dissapointing. I would rather use Winter melon over that pretty shitty plant.

While I do agree most of your points, you forgot one thing about Pepper - Pult, the slow recharge. Also Sun Bean must be used as a support plant not a main sun producer.

Imo, it's decent. If you wanna get rid of a zombie faster then it would help, plus it needs only 1 per lane and it can be used as a disposable glass cannon. Albeit, the sun cost per shot is high as hell, I kinda like it.

i agree, i think having the ability to so easily control the tempo/speed of the game, doing 1800+ damage in a second while most other plants do no more than 60 damage in a second and making pvz2 a complete cakewalk is quite garbage

Magnifying Grass makes pvz 2 require little to no skill. Although it does waste lots and lots of sun and it's not worth the sun used up, that's the whole point. it's supposed to drain your sun supply but in return bring support whenever you want and it getting eaten doesn't make a difference. Imagine using only one column of sun-producers, lmao.

I’m a snapdragon and lightning reed fan but bro you’re over exaggerating like it doesn’t take 10k sun 1 lightning reed (lvl 1) costs 125 and for 1 lane of lightning reed it costs only 625 sun and for max power which is 2 lanes it’s 1250 sun which is pretty easy to get

bro, lightning reed is one of the cheapest plants that can cover 3 tiles, it's not that cheap. by that logic; you shouldn't use melon pults as it cost 1 million sun.

There are also better grave destroyers like cherry bomb and primal potato mine than grave buster
