Plasma cutters have come a long way since the late 70's. 3 different kind of gases and a power source that required a forklift to move. Eather flowed a templet or an eye flowing a black line on white paper to full scale. 👍
Thanks, Kenny. It’s had some figuring out to do, and I’m sure more to come. Mainly we just need files to cut and customers to buy, at this point. It needs to pay itself back soon. God bless, brother.
If you tried picking up my friend John Paul's plasma cutter, you might not be able to move for a while afterwards. That thing was so massively heavy, we used a hand truck just to move it from it's put away spot, closer to the material/project we were working on. I'm guessing around 200-250 lbs.
Make sure you have good ventilation! if you start smelling or tasting metal, STOP and use a respirator! where I worked at before I retired had a big one, and boy howdy did it kick up the fumes when running! ( even with a vent hood ) Ok safety stuff aside, glad you're moving up in the way of technology!
Is your torch on/off wires up to pins 1&2 on the back on the Primeweld Plasma? I have this similar setup but I have no control from the computer when to turn on/off the torch head. Awesome setup!
