In this video we'll show you how to plaster a room in one hit. I didn't use any slowest, I was on my own and the whole room was plastered in roughly 3 hours and 40mins. This can be tough but I'll show you the things you need to watch out for when doing it for yourself.

Your working harder than you have to… why don’t you double up with the same mix? One coat & then second right away. Clean buckets out & angle trowel corners. Sponge half the room then flatten & sponge the other half and flatten. 2 trowel & a cross to finish & your golden

To be honest,I’d have completed the ceiling first,then MAYBE! try to do all the walls,and that’s a big maybe,i don’t like to be stressed out when i plaster.

Brave man taking on all those wet edges! Stressful to watch lol, looks great tho! For me that's a 425 job, day and half, my shoulder and elbow can't take doing the one day hits anymore. The nela twiches are the best I've used, got the mini flex and the 103, use the 103 for straightening and the mini for the last flick, the refina 600 spat is really good for flattening and closing in the top coat if used at the right time and the wall/ceiling is flat, the plazi spat is good for uneven hits just need to hit it a little earlier, it's not great if it's stiffened up too much, with my spats as well when I get a new one (because I haven't stored it in the van properly and gets a nick) I put the corners on a scaffold pole and give it a whack with a bit of batten to slightly bend the corners over then the ends don't cut in.

Fair play Blaine. I've been Plastering 20 years and I doubt I would be doing that in one hit , 3 way wet corners are a pain in the arse. Love your videos keep it up mate 👍

Great video Blain, well explained. I use the nela gold Flexi, I didnt like that at first either, but love it now, flattens great and a perfect finish.

Aye mate plastered from 16yo back home and hadn't ever seen anyone using the stilts but over in NZ here nearly everyone does and you're right absolute game changer 👏
