PLASTI DIP SEAT REPAIR 

Hi my name is Jared and im a mechanic at Fieldstone Golf Course in Auburn Hills Michigan, and I have over 30 pieces of equipment and most of the seats are shot. So buying new seats for everything would be a fortune. So I was looking for tips and tricks on RU-vid for how to fix seats cheaply and I came across your video and its perfect. Thank you for posting the video its gonna save me a huge amount of money.

It would be great for that!! When I fixed a motorcycle seat with it I put some Denim behind the repair spots to reinforce it and it worked out very well !! Good luck Bud!!☺

I've had pretty good luck with it!! I did some pliers about ten years ago and they are still holding up!!☺

Thats an excellent idea. the foam on my fire blade is still intact with maybe a tiny bit of fill. I feel like i can fill with the can and spray the rest. pretty versatile flexible stuff. thanks for the vid.

AWESOME IDEA... I'm going to try it with the spray plastidip ,my seat not as bad as yours was, just some cracking and I have the spray in my garage... thanks!

Great job. I paint cars with the stuff all the time. Never tried it on a seat before, didn't think it would hold up that long. Thanks for the video.

Thanks Bud!! It's tough to get tickets for this show, don't know how he got in!! That stuff is pretty tough, I think it's alot better than the original cover!! On that model anyway, some tractors I have seen have a nice rubbery seat on them!!☺

Done it and painted over with gloss looks great good help!

I bought a roll of Gorilla tape for my 520-H seat but the edges started rolling up. I could have used this stuff an it never would have shown. Good stuff brother.

that plasti dip crap works great for a lot of stuff. I have use it for sealing a floor with cheap plywood on my boat (20 foot 135hp ob). 5 years later still great.cheaper than that marine plywood. I even used it to seal a small hole in my canoe it worked pissa .. that is some great shit.. thanks I would have never thought to use it on a crappy seat. great video thumbs up thanks.

the spray plasidip works real well on nice wheels during winter , just soak them down in the stuff to protect them , and peel it off in the spring , that stuff is only limited by ones imagination really lol

It's an impressive and inexpensive fix, but seems you could have also fixed the shape with some spray foam insulation.

You talk about the cost of a new replacement seat, well let me tell ya. I've got an 89' Wheel Horse 257-H and I have the same problem with the seat. The vinyl has cracked and torn and is in need of repair or replacement. Well, I decided I would buy a new OEM seat. WRONG It list for $252 Crikey, that's 50% of what I paid for it. I guess I'm going to follow your example.
