11yrs later and this is still helpful. Years of being issued vests without the waist band, I finally bought a brand new carrier for myself, just to be so confused on why the waist bands were SO UNCOMFORTABLE with the cumber on. Now i see how easy it is ti take off.

I looked up LBT and I couldn't find it on their website, they have similar cut ones, but not this one. I found it on KDH Defense systems and it doesn't look like you can buy it as a civilian, but I have seen at least one of them on Ebay.

I just bought a vest like this will 10x12 plates fit in it says on back medium I guess that's the size

It's removable. The cut of the soft armor is Sapi cut and is the size of the plate you are using.

He says make sure your plates are parallel but then doesn’t explain what to do if they’re not parallel

i mean its pretty obvious dude. move the plate bags until they are, if they arent parallel after putting on all the cummerbunds then adjust the shoulder straps and repeat until parallel
