Playa Lagun, Curacao has amazing snorkeling and a cliffside restaurant (Free Parking)

For anyone who enjoys snorkeling, this is a must do on Curacao in my opinion. Very easy entry and exit, and lots of beautiful marine life in a small area. If you're snorkeling with children or people who have never snorkeled before, this is a great place to take them to introduce them to the marine environment. Jordan, did you see any squid there? The last time I was there, several years ago, I saw a group of 19 in just 2 or 3 feet (1 meter) of water, and they'd been seen there before. I really enjoyed your underwater footage. It brought back many good memories. One correction about those sea snakes - they were eels, a type of fish, not snakes. The grayish one with the white spots is a sharptail eel, which is a type of snake eel. The darker one with the yellow markings is a chain moray eel. It's unusual to see more than a moray eel head sticking out of coral, but I've seen whole sharptail eels like the one you captured with your camera.

We ate at the restaurant and it wasn't that great. Definitely overpriced, over hyped. The views were great but the food is terrible. 2/5
