Hip hop aint dying, its evolving, in like 5 years, their is gonna be like weird fusions with other genres that just destroy mainstream rap. In a good way.
@@michaeljackson3612 as long as there are rebeling teenagers in highschool in america rap will never die.. its their punk, you wouldnt get it, the genre already is alive you can't kill it....
“There’s a lot of rappers that choose to be silent in hip hop for, I don’t know…vibes?” I can’t believe it’s 2024, after witnessing decades of the behavior in which society has treated celebrity types: ranging from paparazzi-esque stalking, fan harassment and journalistic humiliation, that we still have some people ponder on, or even be remotely curious, at to why a rapper would want to shy away from the spotlight. Like, seriously? Is this really such a hard question to answer for yourself?
Ima be devils advocate and say I think man's was just saying like for the sake of unless your music is idk damn near incredible its only gonna get so far no matter how talented. Without a team or machine it's all on you and you really do have to put yourself out there and showcase what you got in various ways. It's billions of people on this planet so competition is everywhere. You not putting yourself out there and solely banking on the music to do all the work is like trying to win the lottery lol but everyone else wants to win too 🤷🏽
I think when you're in the spotlight for as long as he's been you're basically that... same applies to Taylor swift, beyonce, Kanye and artists of that branch
Whoever sees this comment man's in the vid is right. You must showcase yourself. Especially if it's just you without a team. When you reach a certain level then you can change your narrative and become "mysterious" and all that. But honestly moving like that is a privilege because you're not exactly pressed for time. You have to build leverage first.
what if we as fans think theyre trying to be mysterious but thats just their natural creative timing process and we are just impatient as fans? if you dont use social media as a rapper in 2023 you mysterious? smh chill out gang anyone pressed over mysterious personas has no job cuz who cares what an artist does let them do what they want id rather have them be 'mysterious' then be forced to drop mid albums every couple months by the label...
@realbosstakea nah man imo nxggas can't be as mysterious as a Kendrick Lamar or frank ocean on the comeup if they don't have the level of talent and work ethic to backup. Artist who wanna be mysterious without leverage have no business doing so. It gets you nowhere gang
carti gonna change hip hop and you changed your thumbnail personally i find the thumbnail better but the colours on the other were more appealing (but that’s ist me everyone else might think different)
Playboi carti isnt gonna save hip hop. The inspiration that once drived all the artists is drying up the world is crashing and bout to burn. Gods gonna do what he must
One ladst thing You missed an opportunity in this vid by not letting thar kanye interview finish what he was saying about gaga🤣every time i see that i die😭
Carti is just a meme dude. He's signed to interscope has has a massive amount of bots pushing his content on reddit and stuff. Whole lotta red barely went gold. He isn't changing anything. Dudes a more emo version on Kanye with music you could barely listen to. People think it's genuine growth because theyll ingest whatever is pushed to them. Yeat is in the same position right now. Looks bigger than he is and thats thanks to Interscope fudging the numbers and buying plays. This isn't hate. This is just fact.
@@KingBenny music and personality are two completely different things. It’s why I brought up yeat. To add onto that, Kanye is a genius with mixing and mastering. His music is all his. Yeat and Carti owe their sound engineers EVERYTHING because without them, they're literally nothing.
thats the thing you never seen his come up, u cant really relate.. its like kanye... if you dont know his history and come up and you play his latest albums for the first time you wouldnt enjoy it... cartis come up was crazy in 2015 2016 2017 2018 and to see him evolve into 2020 and to see all the hate towards him turn into love and seeing the sold out shows it was incredible.. carti really reached a new level people would say bigger than travis scott, and travis had the biggest shows since kanye... so this new stuff by carti is minimalistic to some but to others its pure golden... hes not saying too much and letting his voice vibe with the beat... its almost going back to his early days of 2015-2018 again... thats why jimmy
