He had a nice iso game and handles amongst his peers at his pf position .He showed flashes of a taller Elton Brand but very effortless work ethic lack of discipline and leadership stunted his growth
Remember partying with him down in PR back in 2012. Aside from his iced out chain and watch, he never “looked like” a celebrity or act like one. Even had Denny’s with everyone else. Renaldo Balkman was chillin with us as well.
PLEASE do Terrell Brandon! Dude was an absolute MONSTER as a point guard and at one point was considered the NBA’s best point. Then all of a sudden he got a knee injury In Minnesota and never played another game again….like literally never played again….and was averaging double figure points and 7+ assist
@Joe Turner I agree. I don't think he was ever close to being the best PG in the league. He was talented though. But not as good as his ex teammate Mark Price
@Joe Turner Two years in Cleveland he averaged 19 and 6 with 2 steals per game... Cleveland had the slowest offense that literally waited until it was 1 on the shot clock.. Averaged 14 and 8 with 2 steals in Milwaukee then finished in Minnesota where he average 17 and 8 with 2 steals.. His last season in the NBA played 32 games averaged,16 and 8 with nearly 2 steals and shot 98.8% from the free throw line.. his knees ended his career..
Hands down one of the most frustrating players I've ever watched in my entire life. When motivated he was an all-star talent, great size with ball handling ability. A surprising array of post moves and counters, he'd used the baseline and the basket to block defenders from stealing the ball or rejecting his shot in away many Superstars cant. He saw the floor well and was a good defender again when motivated. He'd give you a sick game against the best PF's in the league one day, then look like the 13th man on the roster the next day. Or doing some dumb ish off the court. We used to call him "Cant get Right". I hoped when he left my Wizards it would click for him and he was looking promising with the Nets but next thing you knew he was out the league. He was like a cross between Lamar Odom and Zach Randolph had all the tools. I've often wondered had the Spurs drafted him would Pop have been able to get the max out of him.
I'm from Syracuse I remember when he pulled up to the cookout in a rolls. He seemed pretty chill and didn't really strike me as selfish or self centered and took pics with who asked
I thought of him too, but as a Pistons fan I couldn't ask; it's bad enough he's already got videos on Grant Hill, Darko Millicic, Korleone Young, and Stanley Johnson...
Idk breh this dude might of went to college and never made it to the league due to his decisions. He definitly the type of kid that steals laptops out of college dorms, gets kicked out of a D1 and flames out at a Juco type shit. lol he might of made the right choice by cashing out lol
Andray Blatche is a Philippine and International Basketball Legend.. He led the Philippines to several Basketball World Cup and Asian Championship wins and Gold Medals together with other international greats like Pingris, De Ocampo and Tenorio... 🤦♂️😆🤪😜😆🤦♂️
Yo. Nets fan. Hell yeah. It was a time I was like keep him over Lopez or play them together. It wasn’t skills that got him out the league. But attitude.
@@quincybryant5231 man I remember the Association: Brooklyn Nets when they covered them moving to the Big Apple. I've been in love with them ever since.
He did great with the Philippine National Team. Had a great skill set being a 6'11" guy who is versatile. At times though he made some selfish plays often going 1 on 1. And of course, those times playing out of shape. Still respect the guy for playing for the 🇵🇭
With the length and skill, should've been an all star and also a good versatile third scoring option. I'd like to see you do a video on Emeka Ofakor or RaefLafrentz
Andray Blatche treated basketball like a way of getting out of civilian life n hard work instead of treating it like a real blessing and maximizing his abilities. He was lucky the wizards are dysfunctional cuz in today's era a team will get rid of a player who don't pan out real fast
Richie Parker from Harlem would be a good one?? He went to Manhattan Center high in NY and played with Jim Jones, Mase and I think Cameron too?? He was going to Seton Hall then had a situation in his senior year with a female and got suspended and Seton Hall took his scholarship away he ended up at LIU Brooklyn University they made it to the NCAAs during his time there, then he declared for the draft after his junior year and wasn't drafted!!......That was the last I heard of him????
Dang what was the situation? I'm pretty sure the female wasn't innocent. Broads love trying to raid on niggas that's going places. Brothas, especially hoopers need to leave the girls alone and people in their camp need to be vigilant. The females are more mature in highschool and can easily manipulate a situation to work in their favor. Just being honest. This isn't the first time Seton Hall lost a nice guard over a female.
AB was a dog in Washington and in Brooklyn. Dude got one good contract and just decided to not try anymore.. I don't blame him. You go thru your whole life working for that one contract.. once you get it the chips off your shoulders
Tbh,i think andrey redeemed himself once he became our new neutralized player during the fiba world cup in 2014 until fiba world cup 2019.He helped our players to get used to even tougher competitions during the fiba tournaments and he is considered as the best neutralized player we ever have,I know no one cares about it but i think it was the year where he decided to became a man and grow up.The younger Blatche is different than the older Blatche
Like Kwame Brown, it seemed like Andray was set up to fail. Both were drafted to horrible franchises. I wish they both could have started out with a team like the San Antonio Spurs. They needed stability and structure.
Dude was nice he was just dealt a bad hand by getting drafted by Washington.. Straight out of high school could do everything.. Poor man Derrick Coleman just wasn't mentally prepared for what the league was about.
Kung gagayahin ni kai Sotto ung laro ni blatche na mahusay sa dribbling ability in and outside eh malamang makuha na sya sa NBA parang katulad ng ginagawa ni wenbayama
college would have expose his smaller hands for his size. MJ was more of his problem than college. Kwame Brown should have been KG size majority of his career. MJ made him gain too much weight which ruined what made young Kwame special athletic freak.
This dude had so much potential. I remember thinking he was gonna be one of the best players at his position for at least 6-7 years. Just didn’t work out.
I'd Like To See You Do Chris Morris Who Played With The NETS When Derrick Coleman, Kenny Anderson, Drazen Days. Chris Was A BAD BAD MAN. Small Forward And Amberdextrious (???)
I remember this guy roasting people on the wizards. And when I'm playing old school 2k I still trade for him. Dude was talent. Love the videos and keep up the great work. One guy who you should take into consideration as a video is glen rice. Dude was legit and was one of the best shooters I've ever seen. His stunt was definitely getting bullied by other superstars on opposing teams. Love the work boss man!
@@nmbmemphisbeast3690 The “kids” will never understand the difficulty of Live 2001 (PS2) trying to beat MJ one on one or the feeling of that rumble pack after sending someone’s shot against the camera on Dreamcast 2K1-2K3!
Guy played for the Philippine team..was good but he was out of shape most of the time.. He held the program back for years because he couldn't get in to basketball shape.. Whenever a tournament is coming up the big question is what kind of Andre will show up
DeMarcus ain't even DeMarcus.was supposed to be head to head with Embiid; looking more like the Vanishing Ben Simmons. Cousins barely a nephew nowadays 😏
When it comes to High School players entering the draft it depends on how they're wired. The reason KG, Kobe, Tmac, LeBron, and countless others who entered via High School were successful in the league was due to their mentality and work ethic. Blatche just wasn't wired that way.
I live in DC when they played Phoenix they got blown out. Me an my homies was at the club I'm downtown DC this fool was In club partying right after they got punished. He had on a hoodie trying not to get noticed wasted talent
Great job… I was just about to say; When your team leader is Gilbert Arenas, you’re in trouble. But you mentioned it. 👍🏿 I’m a PG County MD Native & In my late 30s. Blatche, Clinton Portis(Former Redskins), Arenas… man these guys were at ALL THE PARTIES Man. DC is a crazy party city. TOO MANY DAMN DISTRACTIONS.
