Yes more testing is definitely required but I have NEVER had a connection that solid! It didn't disconnect once. Yeah GS Pro with the BenQ 4k projector... I'm very lucky it looks absolutely incredible!!

That's fantastic news mate! It would really be another game changer if he added that or someone did. That putting Allex made with the webcam is actually really accurate. Yeah the MLM2PRO is really starting to find its stride now... It's all coming together. I did contact Justin and he mentioned they are aware of the chipping and are working on it!

Thanks mate! Refund taking a while! Yeah it's a very simple solution to the problem. The funny thing is you could literally pair any launch monitor to GS Pro using this method. It's not the most elegant (like the new R10 direct Bluetooth connector) but it works great!

@@JLagGOLF Well I got the refund today. I just had to bring it to their attention and they where pretty quick about it. The results your getting look great. It's cool to see the RLM2PRO in the hands of someone as skilled as you are. Your patience level is way more than mine. Lol. I'm just going to stick with my R10 and my IR putting cam with my modified version of Alleexx's code. It has some lens corrections and perspective corrections (and a few other features) that help improve the accuracy and feel of the putt stroke in the GSPro simulator. I think once the RLM2PRO gets the short chips tracked well, that will be a sweet LM for sure.

@@cbsites4127 Good to hear mate and thanks! Yes honestly the R10 is a great little launch monitor and really it's the community that has made it even better. People like Allex and Matt with their connectors to GS Pro and putting.. without the community none of this happens. I definitely think the Rapsodo is in its infancy at the moment and in the next 6 months we will see it take over from the R10. Like I said in my first videos I put on the MLM2PRO it has sooooooo much potential. It's good to see it finally start to live up to it a little.

Thanks mate! I did see this and am super keen to give it a go. I'll hopefully be able to try it out tonight and if it works I'll be pumped! I just really hope Rapsodo hurry up with the official fix but like you said this may be an interim fix.

That's awesome! Are you using an iPhone? For me it's slowly getting better especially while using a hotspot.

@@JLagGOLF I’m using an iPad actually. Rapsodo and MLM have been amazing. E6 connect I’ve had some issues with. Even some of the metrics and how it’s reading the ball right now seems in consistent.

You wont regret it mate GS Pro is incredible… the connector keeps being updated as well so it’s getting better and more stable.. still the odd misread but getting there. This community is great! Yes 100 percent you need a short throw. BenQ makes some great projectors at all budgets. Ideally if you can a laser projector would be great but having said that even the BenQ TH671ST bulb projector is great and used by a lot of people. Ideally something with 3000 ANSI lumens as well. Projectors can be the hardest piece of the puzzle tbh.. it can get very confusing but as long as it's short throw, has 3000ANSI lumens and has at least vertical keystone correction (horizontal is great but generally this is only on more expensive units) you can't go wrong. Yeah they are absolutely incredible! So GS Pro give you the tools to do it (software) they are seperate and not built in to GS Pro. There is a discord group that has an amazing community of people that all help with any questions people have (You can buy extra random things like trees and bushes via packages I’ve seen). And finally there are also some RU-vid tutorial videos one of the designers made that detail the process.

Thanks hjlamb! Yes the auto chip actually works quite well. It caught me out the first time I used it though!! Hahaha 🤣 I thought the R10 had given me a ghost chip. Yeah I'm not sure why... I'm thinking at the moment it's my modem/router. Yeah potentially a dedicated access point would work.. I need to do more testing with the hotspot but the first session was flawless and tbh it made using the Rapsodo a really great experience. Also I spoke with Justin and they are aware of the chipping and are working on it! 😍

Thanks Max! So for me yes it is.. and I think there have been countless videos showing that on RU-vid. I think the accuracy is fantastic... Between the GC2 and the MLM2PRO there are some very minor differences I've seen in the ball speed. The GC2 reads ball speed about 2 mph quicker than the MLM2PRO. This could be the photometric vs radar difference. But they are both very consistent in their own algorithms and the data excluding ball speed is pretty much identical. A few things to remember as well the GC2 is great at putting something the Rapsodo doesn't offer... So if you're really interested in Sim golf the putting is fantastic in GS Pro. Like you said the chipping isn't great with the MLM2PRO at the moment but I know they are working on that! Cheers

Hey Matt yes it's definitely a great device. So I keep talking about this connector because it's what enables us to use the GS Pro software. You can absolutely just hook it up to your phone or tablet and that will give you the Rapsodo native app, Awesome Golf and the E6 golf app. Like all things there is the hardware being the MLM2PRO itself and then multiple different software options you can hook up to.

Hey Cory no it won't as it's not officially supported by GS Pro. When you go to their website you need to purchase the one from the dropdown box called Open API. This is how a lot of launch monitors connect to GS Pro. The community will build connectors for them because the actual company hasn't partnered with GS Pro. The con of this is that there isn't any real customer support. Having said that the community is so amazing if you go to the discord you can have an answer in about a minute rather than wait a few days to get an email back from customer support 🤣.

Thanks mate so I’ve got 8 foot 10 inches (I’m 6ft) and I can just and only just get away with driver.. I have hit the roof a few times and every time it completely freaks me out hahaha. When people come over they can’t hit drivers generally unless they swing it a bit flatter on the follow through. You should get away with irons in your setup unless you can somehow raise a section of the roof. All the GS Courses have par 3 tees so you would still have lots of options. Another other option is to buy a second driver and cut it down to a 3 iron length or one of those taylormade mini drivers might work. Cheers

@@JLagGOLF thanks for the reply. I’m only 5 foot 8 tall so potentially that will assist me with hitting driver. I’m new to golf and I’m really poor with my drive and generally hit a 3 iron or 5 hybrid off the tee but I was hoping to use my sim to work on the driver while having a bit of fun. A cut down shaft might be a reasonable solution. Not an ideal training aid but still good fun.

Hey mate so you have V2 of the connector is you have an iPhone then v1 will work for you and you won't have to do this. I'll have a video coming out on V2 of the connector soon but it sounds like you have it sorted!

Ah ok yes I am using v2,, I might try v1 as I had issues with misreads, disconnections etc. and it’s a pain having to enter the ROI every time. V2 has faster response times I believe but I’d prefer reliability over speed. I’ll be interested to hear how you went with v2.

@@Springbok331 Yes I will admit I did have a few mis reads as well! I'll have to do more testing. With the iPhone it was very very rare with V1 to get a misread. I played 2 rounds of auto putt and only had one misread. With the V2 connector I have already had a few mis reads and haven't used it that much.

It may not work today but just hang in there because Apple just introduced an app to emulate gaming engine requirements normally reserved for PC gaming ...

I know there are users out there who play GS Pro on Mac right now using bootcamp I think. I think it runs that smoothly right now but yes exactly what leocustomgolf said!!

Hey mate yes that's correct you will need to pay the Rapsodo subscription to have access to the spin and spin axis and then additionally the GS Pro subscription to have access to that software.

Hey Eldred yes there is a really nice stable connector for the R10. You connect it directly to your PC or laptop. With GS Pro you need a gaming laptop or PC as it's window based. So I originally had 16gb or RAM however I recently upgraded it to 32gb only for me because I'm not only running GS Pro but also the view software for Uneekor and then on top of that screen recording everything to make the videos so I needed a little more memory. The SSD in it is just a 500gb one. I would like to have 1tb to be honest as out of the 500gb I think I have around 70gb left and downloading courses now each one is roughly 1gb. Cheers

@@williammurray7268 If you're not using a lot of other applications in the background the 16gb will be fine. It's only because I am using multiple apps in the background and also screen recording that I upgraded to 32gb. Cheers

Hey mate it is very close to being the clear leader in this segment in my opinion. There are still some issues that need to be sorted out like connectivity issues, 3rd party connection issues and chipping isn't great Now that there is a GS Pro connector for me if it was my money and I didn't own a launch monitor I'd buy the Rapsodo. If I owned an R10 I would be very very close to pulling the trigger.. there should be some more updates coming out shortly that will address a few issues and when that happens it will be worth the upgrade in my opinion. The only argument for the R10 really at that point would be the lack of subscription fees and club data.
