I never considered the packmaster as a severe threat, but give the stick to someone with an actual brain and now I'm horrified, smoker snatching all over again.
Seeing the gutter runner fly up into the air like a rocket only to fall back down on some poor no-fur will never not be funny. I just wish I could get someone’s perspective of seeing the gutter runner fly up into the air and land down on them like a missile.
Some of these clips are peak Skaven behavior. Waiting for the man-things to pick up their ally and killing them both with a gas globe you had perfectly aimed on them sounds like a war crime, i.e. good Skaven behavior.
I know it's fatshark but I hope they fix some of the bugs you could use as skaven. It may be 'in character' to cheat and use dirty tactics but magically warping someone into a wall seems unfun

Thankfully they aren't as coordinated in PVE as seen here, else the ubersreik 5 wouldn't reach as far as they have XD

Man catcher is just an engine of misery. Its like smoker and jockey had a baby and that baby stabbed its mother 28 times in the womb then hit her with the claw and pike.
They're actually called "Man-Catchers", in real life as well. Well known medieval weapon which has survived until modernity in japan, though they call theirs "Sasumata".
So can you actually dodge the packmaster grab? Seen enough in this video where they are looking you in the eyes when you get em. Cant tell if they are just bad or dodging doesnt work due to connectivity hitreg.
I've found playing the normal game missions, that i need to dodge right as the animation would begin or slightly before or it would end up grabbing me. with AI, that's easy since i know when they will go for the grab. players i cant predict and they could do a fake out or pre-grab esk move. although i feel that's not how you are supposed to dodge packmasters; they would be a bane played by players if my experience with them is the same for others
@@scarecentral1565 sort of it's an alpha and the gamemode's pretty barebones and unsustainable, but that's fine since they're fine tuning it still needs alot of work though

I didn't play them much so I didn't get any kills with them. They're very situational and often there are stronger options to pick from. In the current new Alpha (RAT) they have been buffed, though. Now, they're actually pretty strong and I use them more.
teams switch roles after each sub-round. Maps are modified and divided into several parts. For example Team A is Skaven for Part 1 first, then they have to do Part 1 as Heroes while Team B is Skaven, and then it moves on to Part 2 (don't remember what the rule was on which team starts as rats in Part 2). I just recorded the Skaven gameplay because it's more interesting and fun to me. Hero side mainly became borderline speedrunning to the end, nobody needs to see that.
It's still in development. There have been a closed alpha and an open alpha already. Next play test will be from May 30th to June 9th for everyone who owns the game!
@@BastiKuchen now that i think about it i think left for dead also marked the survivors for the special infected as well. the assassin and the cliff strangler clips are hilarious btw
@@ArmandoTheWanderer Yeah but in l4d the survivors all had guns as weapons standard so walls were necessary. In vermintide where basically everyone is melee having only one side have constant walls seems unbalanced.
Gute Arbeit, ich muss mir die ganze Zeit das geflame meines kumpels anhören (der den Modus noch nie gespielt hat) dass das doch tierisch unausgewogen ist weil jeder gute Vt2 Spieler die skaven Seite doch easy ausschalten kann mit einem Schuss. Ich glaube nein.
games hard enough without the monsters having real human intelligence, im not gonna play that looks disgustingly frustrating on the heroes side of course

@@FabricioCdaSilva Yeah there have been 3 Test Phases already: a Closed Alpha Test in February, and then the two Open Alphas during March and May/June respectively.
If you nobrain run face first into the heroes as skaven it can appear as unbalanced, but play even a fraction like an actual mob and it's an easy win. You get constant walls and streams of adds to distract and whittle down the heroes.
Jeeez are what are these players doing....going into globadier cloud......not helping each other (standing next to pounced teammates etc)....lmao.....and I thought Cata pubs were bad.....
Makes me wonder about fat shark’s plans on adding the nurgle cultist specials for the next update or implement chances for any of the players to play as the monsters. Kinda like with l4d versus tank
