First time watching. I thought your opening knowledge was very good here. Games at this level are rarely decided by the opening however, unless there is an opening trap played. Your opponent’s standard was suspiciously good though, especially their endgame play. b5, for example, I don’t know if it was the best move, but it was suspiciously strong, killing any c4 ideas. You had a lovely bind on his K-side pawns and it is absolutely the right idea to bring f and g pawns up to challenge when you did. f6 should have been expected though as it was a move I would have considered as black. Good luck in your new channel, I enjoyed this.

I've been following since I caught your game on the Chess Vibes channel. I think you must have some talent for content, as small, raw channels like these typically don't hold my attention. To your question though, I think you (and your general popularity?) would benefit from just a smidge of editing. I really enjoy the out-loud contemplation and hearing the thought process... in fact, it's probably 95% of what's kept my attention, but that said once you finish the thought process and there's just waiting time without much more to say, I start getting impatient and skipping through or playing double speed. So my two cents is: definitely leave all the commentary, but skip the dead air and filler time. Good luck and thanks!

I say leave opponent contemplation time in the video. It gives you the time to discuss the position, and gives us time to think about the position as well. I watch your videos for entertainment, and to help improve my calculation skills.

It must be really hard to commentate and think at the same time. However you spent 2 or 3 minutes telling us you were winning while your opponent was busy calculating. When he finally moved you took 5 seconds to tell us it was bad. You never actually calculated anything meaningful till the position was lost. You're making great progress, but sometimes your attitude is a little complacent/arrogant. Humility will get you where you want to go.

Sorry if this comes across as harsh, it's not meant to be. I was very bright at school too, and way too arrogant for my own good!

Without looking at the analysis I was thinking pawn to b4 was what you missed. You spent a lot of time babbling instead of analyzing pawn moves on left side of board.
