@@milkshake834 This is true, however, for the Czech republic it is different. Most people when talking in person call their country the Czech republic (Česká Republika) and not Czechia (Česko). The name was never 100% accepted amongst the Czech population.

It infuriates me when I see someone not being able to tell the difference between East Asian written language. It’s like such a big hint because China, Korea and Japan all use different alphabets. And he pronounced Jeju like “Jay-ju” lol

This is how you know which asian language it is from Chinese, Japanese, and Korean: Chinese: more complicated characters Japanese: look for the smily face character or the n Korean: it has a lot of circles Hope it helps!

jack, korean alphabet has circles, japanese and chinese don't, the difference between chinese and japanese is that chinese has straight lines and you can tell if you're in japan if you don't see any cars parked on the sidewalk, it's forbidden there

No way, I immediately recognized the McD at 4:00. It's right in the main train station building. Been there plenty of times. I think it's closed now since the building is under restoration, but the views from the top floor were pretty nice.

Tips for these three languages: Japanese is pretty simple with some more detailed characters every once in a while because they use Chinese characters sometimes but most of the time it’s pretty simple and round. Korean is like a slightly simpler Chinese and quite angular except for a lot of circles. Chinese is just really detailed and angular. I don’t really know how to explain it lol, but hopefully I kinda helped.

How I remember the difference between Chinese, Korean, Japanese Chinese: something I can read Korean: something that has circles in the letters Japanese something I can't read but doesn't have circles and is simple to write (well at least looks like it) btw I'm chinese
