You know what's sick, Kazuya spent 8 games accumulating his power, but his son took it all away in this final fight. Rather than whine and lament about it, he shrugs it off and sees it all as means to an end.
9:46 ok so some lore for anyone confused. The theme playing during this section of the fight is Jin's Tekken 3 theme. Tekken 3 was the game where Jin was introduced, as Kazuya's replacement cause Kazuya was 'dead', which is why he has a modified version of Kazuya's moveset in Tekken 3. In Tekken 4, Jin unlearns Mishima style out of spite cause Heihachi betrays him at the end of Tekken 3's story and adopts what's been his fighting style since then. So when the Tekken 3 music starts playing and Jin needs to pull out all the stops to win, he reverts back to Mishima style. It's also part if his whole "I will accept all of who I am" character arc. In the next phase of the fight, he also starts mixing in the Kazama style moves he learned from Jun, which is why he kept auto parrying some of Kazuya's moves.
3:21 that "where is the police?" like bro wth they gonna do in that situation ( zanny said the equivalent of insta reels that ask what you doing when world ends )
Two fun facts Zanny and everyone else who read this (though I think the second one is probably the biggest surprise). During the final fight Jin is swapping between a few of his iterations in the Tekken series and then swaps from Mishima style to Kazama style. And another fun but mostly funny fact, Robbie Wyckoff the guy who is singing My Last Stand during the last fight between Jin and Kazuya is the guy who sings basically any song in the Phineas and Ferb series. Discovered that when I noticed the name looked familiar when I was listening to the song on Spotify and when I checked by looking up his name I got a good laugh out of it.
Just to fill you in, that 'viking' music you refer to about 11:50 is from Tekken 2 and to start with Jin was pretty much the Kazuya replacement in his first outing in Tekken 3 until he abandoned the style for traditional karate from 4 and onwards.
bro, this has to be my first ever watched tekken vid and the hype got to me so bad i actually started crying wtf. if i was any good with fighting games, i'd pick it up ngl
7:08 I’ve seen or rather heard worse crackling… its basically impossible for me with my disabilities to beat Metal: Hellsinger… but the second last mission I believe was death in my ears… not the skeleton in robes, nor an actual music, but rather *PURE CRACKLE.*
Not sure why everyone who plays is surprised at Jin being telekinetic while he's a devil. He's been levitating/force choking people since Tekken 5 in his victory poses, lol.
