I made a whole video on how to escape traps and your even referenced in it. the reason you broke out is explained around 2:20. Enjoy ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pgzYQPdYal4.html
The trap suction can vary based on the upgrades on the trap itself. If they have a lot of upgrades to sucking power the mini game is much harder to break out of
I've had really terrible luck with Bramble's orbs. I don't know if its happened to anyone else but I noticed several times when my orb would seek out a deployed trap (didn't matter whether it was open or not) and detonate on it rather than on busters or civilians that were nearby. It seems like the kind of ability that would be pretty powerful...when it works...but because its behavior is at the mercy of its AI program, it is also frustratingly unreliable.
To escape traps, having the trap run out of energy is much easier than the spamming of the button minigame. So damage the traps, and then get stuck in it just as it is about to stop functioning. Counts for that challenge and was how I completed it.
i actually escaped the ghost trap about 2 or three times but u have to spam so much to escape and it hurts my fingers and most of the time i’m just an inch away from escaping. Honestly i think it need just a small buff maybe
I think they should nerf the pke detector stun or give you immunity if you JUST been stunned so they can’t just spam it on you. Being a Ghost is really hard on small maps.
Have you found out what exactly the shock does for the poltergeist yet? I honestly feel like their passive shock does nothing. Seems like their whole kit is bugged
Any idea if the remote trap receiver is bugged? I equip it but the thing never opens. Only way I see it open, and can view the remote pressing animation, is by also equipping the instant trap opening mod. I'm on PS5 so I dunno if it's some bug there or not. Does the remote receiver work correctly for anyone else? If so am I just doing something wrong? I don't care for the instant opening trap since it feels too strong to me, but I would like to be able to move away from the trap at times.
I was going to comment that escaping the first trap is kinda easier on controller but if this update made it even more easier then I may never get caught 😅
I despise playing against a chomp, the sound isn't the problem, it's the dark screen that ruin long distance visuals. It is the perfect ambush/escape tool for hit and run.
as a chomp main it hurts to hear ya shittin on my boi. chomps great for stealth if you use him right. if gb are not communicating much use his silence as a red herring instead things SUPER visible from a distance so just gotta haunt a bunch of stuff slap the silence down and dip while gb waste their time looking for you or look for groups of civilians and slap it on them and force the gb to spend time calming them or risk loosing roomfuls of civvies. pretty much just totally ignore the fact that it disrupts coms and mainly use it for the few other quirks it has like it's sot (spook over time) on civvies and busters or how dark it makes things (if memory serves correct it's just as dark for busters) so use it like a smoke bomb shit some minions out and dip. pretty much I need to get off my ass and get some of my own ghost gameplay out there show the people how a chomp main does things XD
I find it odd with this game compared to others like DBD that both sides have upgrades and perks. In DBD the killer gets perks and add on's, as well as the team of survivors. Yet GBSU the team of 4 is the only group that gets upgrades. Not really sure how giving the team of 4 all the upgrades is balanced.
