With no offense to you PPMD, I am surprised you're doing so well in this new meta, not that I don't think you're not capable of it, but with such a long break from competitive some players basically just stop existing or having any relevance. The fact you can give iBDW an actually difficult game is sick, whether you decide to come back to competing or not, you really are a fantastic player and you've earned your spot on golden guardians a thousand times over.

honestly on raw gameplay i'm loving the fact that PP can still hang with top 10 players but from his tone of voice i don't think he has that tournament mindset yet and that's fine, even him just doing what he's doing right now is still really cool, and i'm just glad he's here

PP there are some skills that cannot be lost. The meta changes, mechanics fall out of practice, but the fact that you have a beautiful mind for melee will never change. It seems obvious that a path to the top is there for you if you want it. When you are ready, we will be right behind you :)

I love watching pp’s Marth. It’s interesting how different it is compared to zain. Pp seems to use a lot more early setups into tipper compared to zain who tends to extend his combos. It’s awesome to see that despite zains dominance, marth still has a lot of freedom to play in different ways.

This was honestly the most hyped I've been for melee in a loooooong time. I know it's probably silly but I popped off for you after the first game.

When I first started playing Melee, the best piece of advice I received was "don't wait until you are "ready" to go to your first tournament. Because no matter how ready you think you are, you're still gonna get wrecked". I think you need to consider that PP. I think there is only so much training you can do on your own. At some point, you probably have to start looking to go to tournaments in order to continue getting better. Obviously only go when you think the time is right, but I think Cody's advice is something you should take to heart.

PPMD is easily on the level to outneutral IBDW and most other top players. His edgeguarding and punish routes are sus in today's meta but not by much. Always a treat to watch him play. I Wish he had more confidence in his abilities because i cant help but feel he is too hard on himself when he plays top players
