Was going to comment this. Was wondering why it didn't pop out to anyone. Deck seems cool

There is another lonis that is also super cool, does alot just a little differently

Its a cool deck but its less cEDH and more high power the combo lines usually involve 3 pieces and it folds to removal. cEDH in the past year has power crept a lot of commanders out especially with nadu at the same CMC and using similar counter strategies.

Nope just a goofy lil misplay. Ended up not mattering. With the Force of will hitting when going for the win followed by the bow master before attempting to go for again the next turn I was much shut out at that point.

@@SpicyPlay With that treasure plus the ones used to pay for Rhystic, isn’t that 5? So you’d have been able to activate Magda in response, getting Portal to Phyrexia or something

@@baconsir1159ok I see what you’re getting at. So yes if I go into the turn with 3. Tap to get 5 play the automaton I had in hand which still likely draws out the force if not Tyler’s Bowmaster first. I could have grabbed portal or something in response which still sets me pretty far back but maybe gives me time to pull it out. Chalk it up to not knowing Lonis well enough to realize Cam was close to the win. With automotan, Xorn and Mirror I thought I could snag the win since I hadn’t seen a Bowmaster yet or if I got stopped been able to go for it again the next turn. In the end missing the forest for the trees maybe.

I don’t think so. If you sac the clue to draw you can’t continue the loop. So you have to find another artifact to sac. There’s only one clue at a time

Lonis makes clues equal to the number of counters placed on him in that specific instance, and does not look at counters that were already on the creature :)

I don't think so. sacing the clue to draw means the loop stops. which means if you want another clue you have to sac another artifact

with the extruder, it is infinite. he sacs an artifact to the extruder to put a counter on lonis, which makes a clue. then he sacs the clue to the extruder to put another counter on lonis, but since he sac'd a clue it triggers lonis now to investigate again. rinse repeat, that's how he was able to make all his creatures infinitely large to kill tyler

Lonis + extruder is invite counters on lonis and you maintain the same amount of clues. Lonis last ability gives a counter to another creature when you sac a clue (by any means not just Clue's own ability) to grow the rest of his board, or loop the sage.

I need an artifact to sacrifice to activate the station and then I can’t continue my Lonis loop I’m pretty sure
