Thank you for sharing. Its so nice to see someone with a relatable space. Every time I search for ideas I find videos with big houses, rooms, or basements and it just makes you feel defeated. This video was very helpful for me and my small space.

We have a small 1,100 home with no play room. We keep toys to a minimum in 2 boxes. Every 2 weeks we change the box that our son can play with and he always immediately dumps it out to see everything. We allow 1 big toy in the living room at a time, like his lego kit or choo choo train kit, but he knows every night after dinner is clean up time so mama can sweep the floor. We also hang out in his room and play.

It's a blessing Peter is not interested in the wires! My girl picks at EVERYthing! 😅 We also have a living room "playroom"! I love seeing yours! 😊

They make these dome/cube shaped outlet covers that screw onto the wall OVER the cords that are already plugged in to the socket. ‘Safety1st’ has some... I saw this on Hapa Family’s channel in her montessori room tour video

we also combine livingroom with play place and have it separate with the couch we have a bigger livingroom so that we can do it and than we have a craft room too

Where are you planning to put the play kitchen when it comes? Do you use any of the outdoor space in your backyard for toys?

It kinda sucks having such a big couch, but understandable at the same time. Have you thought about just having the Nugget in his room? Seems like a hassle to take out all the time. I live in a small space but am planning to build a new small space 🤣🤣🤣🤣. This is helpful in making sure I think about the future for the layout.

Our other couch only sat 3 people and didn't work when we'd have friends over. We like our couch and plan to take it whenever we move to (hopefully) a bigger house some day. There isn't space for the nugget in his room either. It isn't a hassle for us to take it in and out. :)
