I’ve got the Bluetooth transmitter a week ago. I haven’t figured out how to do it with my AirPods. Been trying and trying. Just been using it in my car for now. Any help would be appreciated? Thanks! The stand looks great since I bought it last week!
Preordered the portal due to kids needing attention so i can play in any room in the house instead of staying in my gaming area, i was against it at first, but I thought, why not give it a go
Awesome accessories, I look forward on more to follow especially from Satisfye, including skins / grips for the duel sense controllers (I'm thinking a Stormtrooper vibe would look really cool!) Love the stand, I've just purchased a PS5 Slim Disc so I'll grab two (one for the controller by the TV / Other for Portal in my bedroom where most of the remote play will happen) Something tells me this new PS Venture on mine is going to have me selling alot of unused tech around the house to keep up with Sony's Eco System!
Amazing! Welcome to PlayStation! Is this your first PlayStation console? We cover all things p my PlayStation here on pure PSX so hopefully we will see you commenting on other videos soon too 👍
I’m not a fan of covers that change a handhelds colour too much unless it’s like actually changing the consoles shell know what I mean? Would be cool is a company would release new plastic shells we could replace with like retro see through plastic ones!? Also I think clear looks clean and I like showing off how the portal looks as I think it looks cool, what accessories have you gone for?
Is the clear plastic cover for it feel slippery on the handles? I wanna get one but im afraid its gunna make it more slippery then it already is. I do have kontrol freek grips to throw over it which r a must on all my controllers
Amazing! Its fantastic! I’ve got another really cool one recently I’ll cover in a future video! Any other accessories for your portal you are thinking of getting?
Honestly really missed opportunity for them to get back into handheld while expanding the streaming, but its just a couch locked PS5 player that needs an entire other console to use
Yeah could have been cool to see another full handheld like a vita 2! Maybe someday if the portal proves to be successful! Not exactly couch locked tho tbh but it does need the ps5 horsepower to play the games! Did you pick one up? I’m really enjoying mine!
What is the actual case you got? The link just goes to the search for cases. Can you send the link or the brand. Without any reviews online (and all coming from China) I don't want to get a naff one! Thanks!
a lot of people don't realize the amount of latency that would be involved between the portal, the ps5, and bluetooth audio being transmitted to the portal from the ps5 itself, it sounds like it should be a no-brainer however, it's WAY trickier than people realize when it comes to this! That's why the new Sony earbuds that are coming out are kind of a "breakthrough in tech" product because Sony claims that they've been able to solve this issue and that the earbuds shouldn't have any loss in audio when it comes to this latency issue I mentioned. If we DID get native bluetooth, you can bet the audio would be WAY off when it comes to streaming through the PS Portal. I definitely don't agree with the $200 price of the new earbuds coming out though. However, I believe this is due to this newer latency tech. For now though, I'd say stick with wired headsets/earbuds :D
Would love for a 3rd party screen shade tbh since I enjoy my portal and switch Oled backyard. Guess I’ll just diy rig one up from an old iPad cover for now lol. Nice vid btw
-The protective case will not protect it when you throw it into a bag because the screen is still out. Sure it might not snap in two so easily but the screen can still get damaged. The case in my opinion gives the person encouragement it toss it in a bag without much care in which case can cause it to be damaged. -The screen protector is something always worth getting. Even for phones or other hand held consoles. It does come with two which is a good thought because the purpose of the screen protector is that it will break first instead of the screen. -The carry case is the only thing so far that is a must have if you travel. If you are only using the portal when you are away from you home then there is no need to have the protective case or screen protector. If you only want to use it at home because of the lack of internet access outside then there isn't much of a point. At most I would recommend the screen protector but wouldn't say it is a must have unless you have children. -Will skip the headphones since they are not out yet and cost as much as the portal device which is a let down. -With the battery pack I would recommend when you are out and about. When at home you really don't need it since you can plug it into a wall. Even then while in hotels or other places with an outlet you can always do that. The good thing about the portal is the simple hardware it has so the user do not need a fast charger to out pace the battery drain during use. In short, if you are just using it yourself and will only be at your home then none of these are really needed. So long as you care for your stuff it will be okay. If you are out traveling alot and you have a good hotspot then the only thing you really need is the carry case. The screen protector can be a good safety backup but not really needed (reason why I say that is because with your phone you normally just use one hand for it. For the Portal you will almost always have both hands on it.). If you bought this for your kid then yes, you will want to protect that investment with the protective case and screen protector.
Thanks fam!! Sorry I don’t I got it like 10 years ago in a big home improvement store in the U.K. called B&Q, basically home depot in the US! Did you get your hands on a portal!?
I know but I just admit after using it and keeping it on my portal I’ve really not noticed grip being a problem, I guess if hands get sweaty it might be tho! Have you got a PlayStation portal?
@@purepsx yes! I preordered it and it was delivered the day after release. I am having a blast with it. Loved playing Alan Wake 2 on it, and I am now onto Control. So much fun.
@@purepsx yeah so I did get a carrying case that arrived before the portal actually, and I did order a cover/shell. It’s the black one on Amazon. It still hasn’t arrived yet because it is coming from China. Hopefully it arrives next week. I’m terrified I’m going to drop it 🤣
Does the protective case shell clip on tightly or does it come off easy?.. because I got one from HSTOP but the right side was defective and didn't fit correctly and comes apart easily... Was this an issue with yours? This is the one i picked up but the bottom right aide clips dont attach.. did you have this issue or ... Was mine judt defective.
Mines is fine and is still on the device, clips together fine , and yeah it all stays clipped together one mine so far! Had it on since I got it pretty much all the time 👌
Aww amazing! That will be a good Christmas present! Video going live on the channel tomorrow night that has some multiplayer and zombies gameplay so make sure you check it out and you can see what you think 👍
The only valuable accessory for the Portal is it's receipt so you can return it when you finally have mental clarity about how god awful useless the Portal is.
Im reading your stupid comment while taking a shit and playing Spiderman in a hotel in NYC for Anime Expo, while all the other losers like you in the hotel had to pay over $500 for an objectively worse experience on a tablet or handheld pc
I was skeptical at first, but it works great with good internet. Hopefully, they add cloud streaming as a feature, so you can use ps now. But I had no issues running games and they looked better then my steamdeck
