I see you commentating on how somethings are not right in TLOU2 like "he should be able to see you" when she was hiding and there was a small crack but you need to take into consideration that this is still a game, not a movie, imagine how hard it would be to traverse the environment with that level of realism and AI awareness.
To everyone saying how did the ai not see ellie in some occasions. ..but you put that shit on grounded difficulty they see you no matter how far you are...
Let's not forget E3 use to be strictly for the press. Now that it's more open to the general public there's this extra (and frankly unneeded) expectation to put on some extra song and dance. I was interested in hearing about The Division 2 from Ubisoft. Thank god I know it'll be good cause of the marching band and dancing panda they had there...
True. I saw more games i wanted from Sony. DMC5 will be on ps4 as well as most the stuff shown, except Halo and Gears, will be multiplat. I watch E3 for the games not the showmanship.
I'm very surprised that there aren't more people reacting to the fact that the trailer confirms that Joel is alive, at least for a portion of the game. When the Asian guy said "your old man really laid into me today," I would have thought more people would have gotten excited.
Some people are mad at life itself Others are mad that Ellie is lesbian now I'm just sitting here, mad that they removed the jiggle physics in Dead or Alive 6 WE NEED THE BOOBIES NOOOOOOOOOOO
Sony's press conference may have been a disappointment (despite the good games it eventually displayed), but it was the most fun to watch on VGA due to the frage! Apologies to Frash as your suffering is our entertainment.
Spiderman, Spiderman, does whatever a spider can Spins a web any size, catches thieves just like flies Look out, here comes the Spiderman Is he strong? Listen bud, he's got radioactive blood Can he swing from a thread? Take a look overhead Hey, there! There goes the Spiderman In the chill of the night At the scene of a crime Like a streak of light he arrives just in time Spiderman, Spiderman, friendly neighborhood, Spiderman Wealth and fame, he ignores, action is his reward Look out, here comes the Spiderman Spiderman, Spiderman, friendly neighborhood, Spiderman Wealth and fame, he ignores, action is his reward To him, life's a great big bang up, whenever there's a hang up, You'll find the Spiderman!
I'm seeing a definite attitude change with these conferences from the companies and the observers. First, this year was less new reveals and more first looks. This could be a result of companies being more focused on shorter game cycles or the leaks making it harder to get into the E3 spirit. Second, observers opinions and hyperbolized by social media and wanting everything in the shortest window possible. With leaks and instant polarized opinions, people can come off as virtually impossible to please. I think in a month or two we can look back and make a better call on what this E3 meant for companies and gaming because I don't think either side knows what they want or don't want.
Fewer game announcements is to be expected, though, as we are approaching the end of the current console generation. Game development takes several years, so studios have to start well ahead of the next generation.
It’s mainly because we already know what these companies are developing. Most either are developing or just released a game. Some people expect them to jump right back into the fold. Guerrilla just finish horizon, Santa Monica just gave us god of war. We know what the rest are doing now
There are moments in life that really make you think. Sometimes it's when you're taking a dump early in the morning, sometimes it's when it's late at night and you find yourself watching a grown man visibly turn red as his level of aggravation rises because Sony had the gall to show Tetris again.
I don't understand why so many folks think that this was a bad presentation. What wasn't to like? They cut all of the fluff and just rolled out the stuff we wanted to see. Each to their own, I guess. (And the church/tent for TLOU was beautiful).
Win Tramp It had a twenty minute break leading to one game being shown in the first half hour, the pacing was very off, they showed minimal games (despite showing great games), there were audio issues galore, and overall it had no energy to the event. The games were cool but that's it.
that girl that searched under the cars that you shot in the head in the last of us 2 trailer sounds like the same voice actress as tess from the first game please let me know what you think
you have to remember that there's a huge difference between fans that grew up on the first two games and people who barely have any connection to it. I remember getting a ps2 for the first game after playing it at a friends house. It's a super important gaming memory for me. Fraser has no personal connection to the games at all and in his defense if you haven't really played them you're going to think it's melodramatic and kind of odd.
People complaining soooo much. Watching this live I was freaking out the whole time. I thought it was great. Truly just felt like quality over quantity. I wish every e3 treated their games like this, besides the overdrawn moments like the musical parts.
I honestly had nothing against this, the beginning with the banjo was nice and the flute too. The games were cool, nothing mindblowing but it was alright.
Hairy Cornflake I agree but the games were indeed mind blowing. The graphics....the gameplay....the fluidity of the combat in TLOU2. That is mind blowing.
That is true, but it's also expected from Naughty Dog. They're one Hell of a talented team. I was more impressed with RE2 and especially Ghost Of Tsushima.
Want to make a fortune, Naughty Dog? Put an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the mo-cap kiss between Ashley Johnson and Shannon Woodward in the Collector's Edition.
You say Nintendo doesn't count because they don't hold a real conference, but... let's be real here, if you cut out all the bullcrap, this event wasn't a real conference either. Just a bunch of people sitting in a church watching a string of extended trailers just like a Nintendo Direct. But for the record Nintendo sucked this year too.
I say Bethesda won, Xbox second, everyone else besides square places 3. I think if they flipped the showing and did the second part first it would have worked better I think.
Brifo Bethesda tod was just very funny so that's why I placed it in first, but they showed updates on all thier on going games, talked about fallout 76, elder scrolls 6 and a new IP. Xbox just announced a lot of world first stuff and basically sequels to their on going games.
