Some of those games look like they would belong in Adult Swim's early line up of shows. They all looked weird and blobby cause CGI animation was still new.

Love the new format. Would love to see more videos also along the format of 'Betesda kicked my dog' from your early days about the rise and fall of different video game studios.

This channel has grown quite a bit since my first viewing, and it’s undoubtably going to grow exponentially. I have always been a huge video game advocate ever since I was seven years old and my brother being but a nine year old, asking our mother and father to buy us Conkers Bad Fur Day on the N64 for 49.99$ at our local Walmart the week it first released. I’ll never forget the Walmart associate asking multiple times whether or not our parents were sure they wanted to purchase the game for us. He read off the ESRB and contents in the game to our parents, yet they still bought us the game about a foul mouth alcoholic squirrel. That’s in my top TEN gaming memories, but even though that’s one of my earlier memories, the PS1 definitely made at least half of the list. Purchasing Resident Evil Directors Cut new alongside the Official Strategy book. I’ll never forget how the first years of my life were watching my big bro beat games on the PS1 that I was either to scared to play or lacked the ability. Nothing like being a Four Year Old in 1998 waking up on Christmas morning to Two GameBoy Colors (They were the big new handheld that came out just two months prior) and not only did me and my Bro get Gameboys we got Three games, Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow. His was Red, Mine was Blue, and we shared Yellow. That’s my earliest memory of gaming. Watching channels like this really bring a tear to my eye. Sure I’m only twenty-six, but it feels like ages ago. Time truly flies by when you’re having fun.

Thanks for the video. I'm fascinated by this era of games. I had a copy of Loaded that I played non-stop, but didn't have many PS1 games, so seeing all of these through the eyes of someone with nostalgia that I didn't have, gives it the weight I need to enjoy the blob on polygons on screen.

Used to play Aironauts a lot when I was a child. Don’t understand why I didn’t instantly snap the disc in half as soon as the intro played, genuinely horrifying. Great new format, TP! Took me a few days to get around to watch it, but would love to see more of these.

I genuinely loved this and would very much like to see more. Peter's enthusiasm for PS1 games mixed with his sense of humor makes for entertaining viewing. I missed out on a lot of what the PS1 had to offer despite owning the system. So seeing some of what I missed is enjoyable. Keep up the great work!

really interesting video series potential here ps1 is a goldmine for oddball smaller titles for quirky, fun and informative vids but i also like the broader possibilities of a series like this highlighting fairly niche game genres/titles/series and what makes people love them as someone that is a huge fan of the dynasty and samurai warriors games seeing so many people disregard them completely and even a large chunk of the people that do play them see them as nothing more than a way to kill an hour and barely even recognize any difference between characters... its somewhat disappointing to see all the depth and detail just below the surface go completely untouched and unappreciated

Definitely need more of this! Its niche like anything "retro" but its good!

Alternate title: PS1 character rosters in non-fighting games were consistently _the best_ These make Overwatch, Paladins, Valorant, etc. all look _pathetic_ (^-^) Shame Xbox isn't a Playstation console (duh), because you really get the sense from early Xbox games like Mad Dash Racing, Whacked!, or Cel Damage that they were really trying to fit in with these sorts of things. But ya can't talk about them in "Playback" here, dangit. Anyway, I just discovered your channel but I really like what I've seen so far. This video format in particular is great. I know there's only 2 of them so far, but I would like to see more.
