It could be so many things. Additionally to what you theorized, it could be that Kraven ends up getting a venom suit and the "we" refers to themselves. It could be that Venom also will fight Kraven. We saw coop moves with Miles so maybe Venom eventually teams up against Kraven and then... you have coop moves with Venom.

I think its pretty obvious that its Kraven talking but when Venom said "we" I think he meant Venom and its host Harry Osborne as shown by the post credits scene in the first game.

Game will be first half half miles/peter vs venom (with peter trying to win Harry over), then kraven beating all of their asses leading to a team up/playable venom.

Weird thing is I had Kid A ripped to my OG Xbox and listened to it a LOT while playing Tony Hawk 2X. So where everyone else has Superman ingrained in their head as indelible to Tony Hawk, I have Everything In It’s Place. Incidentally, punk is great, but Tony Hawk is way better with a moodier soundtrack.

Who's fault is it in this case? Did Sony announce it too early? Cause since then they've been plugging it EVERYWHERE. Did Arkane make too many trailers and they tried to plug it at even more events? I guess we'll see if sales are on their side to be certain if it worked or not.

That wasn’t Dishoneored 2a problem. Dishonored 2 sufferered from their marketing leaning way too heavily on marketing “story” to a market where only 30% of players finish games. It’s the same problem Halo is having now. Nobody cares about story as much as everyone pretends to care about story. The statistics speak for themselves. Nobody is finishing these stories.

@@dreamerabe I mean, that's what people say, but are they actually out or were they already skeptical? What about the amount of people reached by having so many trailers. They're probably banking on winning more people over by having "too many" trailers than the people they'd lose.

@@JazGalaxy Oddest take I've seen in a while. People can't finish games because games take long to finish and most gamers aren't that hardcore, but that doesn't mean people don't like stories or playing narrative driven games.

now that it’s out, how do you feel about it? I loved it but it would be cool if there was a horde/wave mode or something similar to the combat simulator in FF7R, the game just reminds me of FF7R in certain elements haha

@@NickKS57 really enjoyed it all the way throught. And I agree I wish there something extra to do after the game, or maybe so unlocks to go along with new game plus.

Yeah. A pretty decent trailer for more of the same game.

I do think people should keep expectations in check for that one. I feel like people expect Demon's Souls scale, but it's just not the same caliber of studio.

For me it's the gameplay that I'm on the fence with. What they showed was very very mediocre looking. I think it's very worrying that they are so shy to show more or an actual walkthrough so close to launch. The rest looks fine and the art direction is pretty cool looking.

@@Ayoul the worst shot of the game is where they show Starlord running forward shooting his guns while they flash different landscapes as background. It’s meant to be a cool shot showcasing the different environments but really it looks like they are saying you do the same boring thing across the entire game.

But I am against transitioning as I think this thing has deeper roots then wanting to be a different gender, it's more like being lost with your own identity, in my opinion people should try to find the reasons why they are unhappy instead of changing their sex to whatever they like and wanting other to accept this. Trans people have one of the highest suicide rates, do you think this comes from nothing or could it be that this is an issue that is not talked about because of political correctness? Not sure why you are reading some Kind of genius into that. There’s been singular hero games and team hero games as long as there have been hero games. There was a Wolverine game not all that long ago. (Depending on how old you are and what counts as not that long ago)

Some of those things sound off. There's no way Marvel has to license things from Insomniac. It's the other way around. The only reason why Spider-Man things favor playstation is because Sony is paying for it. The rest about characters hopping between games is right though. The only reason why they might not (at least of now) is more about creative control, cohesion and the challenges of working with different studios. Making movies in a single universe is quite easy since multiple movies come out in a year, a single person can oversee each 2 hours or so story, etc. Games take much longer, get delayed (which would impact other projects) and are much more iterative. That said, no reason why you couldn't see winks or a quick mission where either character shows up if the licenses are cleared up.

@@Ayoul Copyright is complicated. The work Insomniac does is typically their property, they are just leasing out the stuff Marvel gave them too. This has happened in the past where a licensed game has done a thing, and then the comics or other projects has not been able to use it. It's definitely been an issue with the movies, where any costume used for a Fox/Sony movie character could not be used in a Marvel game, while MCU costumes could. Now Marvel's handshake with Sony over Spider-Man means that his MCU costumes and stuff can be in Marvel games, but it's not 100%. If Marvel rents out the license to Insomniac to make a Spider-Man game, _typically_ that is a one-way street. That doesn't mean that Insomniac can just make figures or t-shirts of Spider-Man from their game without penalty, but ti does mean that Marvel cannot use those costume for anything of theirs without Insomniac agreeing. It's possible that their current contract automatically hands those rights over, but not always. Think of it this way, since it's a fairly simple example, say there's a song, "Yesterday" by the Beetles or something. A musician licenses out that song because they want to make a cover, and they do so, changing up a lot of elements, but still being close enough that he would get sued without the license. This does not, however, mean that the Beetles license holder would then be allowed to just use this altered version of the piece as they see fit, the second musician would own _this_ version of the song and its unique features, just as a sub-license of the original. To the second point, yeah, having games where A leads directly into B which leads directly into C would be a production nightmare, but they could at least _reference_ each other in ways that are not spoilery, on the off chance that B comes out before A, and they could also work in "stages," where A, B, and C are only loosely connected, but so are D, E, and F, which come out years after any of them, so don't need to worry about spoiling anything from the first three games.

It's a marketing/business move. If anyone other than Insomniac comes up with a Spiderman game... will you play it, will it be better? It could happen, but it'll be really hard for anyone to eat up the upfront cash to get rights to publish/develop such game. You'll need to guaranty millions in sales to pay just for the license deal.

@@Ayoul Actually, getting a Spider-Man game out that is not taking any content from the current MCU or Sony Movie space will be very hard. You'll need to dig really deep into the comics from the past or come up with an entirely new universe for Spidy, because if Sony puts it in a movie, you will have to go with the Avengers route, were you have alternate versions of characters and will alienate the fans/consumers.

@@KravenVanDrakken Not exactly. A Spider-Man game could NEVER get in trouble for "overlapping" content from a Spider-Man movie. Not unless they got _super_ close. Like if you basically made a game that was "Spider-Man: Far from Home," but didn't call it that, then yeah, Sony might get involved. They would have an uphill battle claiming you were stealing from _them_ though, especially if you were just borrowing and combining elements that had already appeared in the comics. If you just did a movie about Spider-Man vs. Mysterio, even in Europe, you could probably get away with that. Marvel would, of course, eat you alive if you didn't have _their_ permission. So the existence of the Sony movies does almost nothing to hamper creativity in Spidey games. Now, when Marvel signed the deal with Sony/Insomniac to make Marvel's Spider-Man PS4, and the subsequent games, they might have included language that would prevent any other types of "Spider-Man solo games" for a limited time, and _that_ might prevent any other studio from makign a Spider-Man game, but that would be separate from the Sony movie deal, and likely much more limited in timeframe. Like if Marvel was annoyed at Insomniac and didn't approve of Spider-Man 2, they could likely already have a different game in development elsewhere.

It's not even a new game either. I feel like it's the kind of thing at least one of them should be aware of. Also, pretty clearly korean language and not japanese (which Blood knows some of and could've pointed out).

@@frankhemstra634 My eyes are fine. Game looks identical. Im playing on 4k OLED and watched HD footage of Ragnarok as well. It looks same which make sense as its cross gen. You can also check Ragnarok thread on Reset era n all for comparison. No need to live in denial. Accept the truth that it looks more like expansion to first game than nextgen showcase that everyone hoped

@@silvershroud6263 I agree. As much of a masterpiece that Ragnarok will be, we can't ignore the fact that these games are drawn back by older gen. From an economical perspective I get it, the company has to make money, but we are yet to see the true power of PS5. As always, Naughty Dog will set the bar at a new high in the industry when they reveal their new IP.

Honestly. While I agree that this particular showing was too much, it’s one of the only games I was interested in.
