Even though you lost the point, great shot at 4:59. That's a really hard shot to attack, especially given the height of the ball when you hit it. Great work.

I changed to Diadem Elevate Tour FS 98 (Winston is trying the Elevate, mine is 315g, 10g heavier) last summer, the best racquet I have had in my hands in the last 25 years. I suggest Winston and Matt test this model, I think they will like it even more. With this racquet you can hit the ball with no fear, it is solid, stable, arm friendly, great plow through...

Switched to the same racquet myself 2 months ago. Went with the Diadem strings as well. Haven’t looked back or twice about it since.

Great hitting guys. Matt, if you like the elevate, try adding the diadem leather grip and I think it would be so nice for your one handed backhand.

Love the diadem Elevate tour 315gs feels really nice. Moved away from solstice power for the solstice black feels a bit softer

Could you elaborate a bit more? Did it have some good power while serving? Good slice or kick on 2nd serves? Slice on ground strokes, feel? Volleys? Etc

I’ve never heard of Diadem. My current racquet is a Babolat Aero. I think I will stick with my Aero.

Any suggestions of adding lead tape to the Nova? I have the Nova and I wish they had a heavier one but I would say Novas are great for intermediate/beginner players.

I added mine in the handle, but 3/9 o clock or 10/2 and 8/4 o clock positions. the second option has been the most popular set up for my players on the Nova.

i was actually talking about that with some of the guys at Diadem. It was a similar approach to when Babolat killed off the Pure Drive Roddick, sales weren't all that great. At my old shop we sold a ton of Pure Drive but very little Roddicks. Players going with the Pure Drive allowed more room for customization whereas Roddick you had little room to play with. I know babolat brought the Roddick back as the Pure Drive Tour. Nova will definitely appeal to more pure drive player but also allow for more customization.

@@redflynn9427 your exactly right. Tennis Nerd youtube said the same thing about the Nova. Great frame very comfortable power racquet that feels solid nice feel. I just need to figure out how to make it heavier and keep it headlight.

@@jgotlib1 Add a leather grip & some lead in the buttcap. Should give you more static weight and headlight balance

I thought it was just the racket i demoed, but this elevate sounds dead as hell too. I also feel like I had one that was really off spec, and swingweight was way heavier than advertised.
