Everyone knew that you can download old clients and tradeup/open cases (u can use this method to get the Genuine X-ray skin), also you can still switch to the old menu (i have a video on my channel where i trade up Shattered/broken fang skins in 2022)
the old menus were so much better; the music and menu animations genuinely were immersive, new menus lack personality and synergy to the music. I wish there was an option to keep the old menus.
also ingame, with the the old ui you had everything in 1 screen, Scoreboard, XP, Rank, Drops and it also took like 5 secs for everything, nowa days you have weird fortnite-like player-model skins dancing around like clowns and a separats screen for every category, it takes forever, it´s so confusing and chaotic it just sucks. Also back in the day it was so much more fun to get drops because it felt pretty epic with tha old sound-effects when someone got a rare drop.
fun fact you can use this verison of csgo to play on old pre-panorama servers too. there are a few that are still being hosted, and you can do so yourself
