Grande accento, grande senso della frase. La voce non sempre risponde fino in fondo alle intenzioni.

People would say he sings extremly expressiv, great declamation, singing like an actor on stage. I prefer that old russian bariton. Indeed the best is this historic Boccanegra with Rethberg, Pinza and so on.

You should do a comparison between the great modern baritone Ernesto Petti's Nemico della patria and between the horrible modern baritone Zeljko Lucic!!!
